wow, the 5 things they described are exactly what Dragon age is. except they only gave it an 8.7 on consoles and 9.0 on pc.

imo IGN was really unfair when they reviewed DAO, and that game is pretty much the pinnacle of a high quality WRPG at this point.

Dragon Age: Origins on the PC was one of the best RPG's in recent memory so hopefully other devs take notice.

It needs better characters and story. God was fable 2 a huge dissapointment in that part.

Lionhead: Make the world open ended, have a good story, have cutscenes, have actual armor, etc, etc.

maybe because Dragon Age did in one game what Fable couldn't do in two. Deliver a quality RPG experience.

I just ran a quick search on gamespot on RPGs as of recent, and yep I'll stick with what I said. :)

Dragon Age is probably the best WRPG to come out of this generation (obviously arguable) ....Fable 3 will just be another disappointment. I didn't even bother with the second Fable after I bought the collector's edition of the first one only to beat the game faster than I did MW2.

Beat Fable in 10 hours.
Beat Fable II in 10 hours... and I didn't even pull the trigger on the final boss... Do you know how that made me feel Lionhead?!

Won't beat Fable III in 10 hours, because I am not buying the dam game.

Fable is perhaps the most overrated RPG in all of gaming...

Everyone talks about how "They're great games but Peter .M just hypes them so much that they could never fulfill that."

The funny thing is, we're not talking about him hyping for GOTY and the game just being 'great'... We're talking about him hyping one of the greatest games of all time, and the result being short of most even mediocre RPG.

Really, anyone who holds Fable in a high regard for anything other than casual appeal is living with their heads up their butts.

I've been completely let down twice now, and Mr. Molyneux is showing no signs of stopping.

Didn't really care much for the first fable, but I loved Fable 2, I must'v clocked 50 hours on my main character

IMO, Action RPGs are more fun because you don't have to pause the action.

After the first two, It will be impossible for Molyneux to get me hyped for a third.
