Im about to become a Wii Owner

Should I buy a good wii game to get used to the system or save my money for Resident Evil, Im in predicament right now I didnt expect to own a Wii before an Xbox360 this gen but things simply happen sometimes D:

Ahh.. why did you do it? IMO I bought a Wii and I couldn't stand it, it looked horrible on my HDTV, and the controls were nothing special, there was only one game I liked which was SMG. It felt like such a downgrade from my 360, it has bad online, and worse graphics, and imho a worse controller.gameslayer01

I second this. NMH was my GotY 2008.

Buy it with SMG, SSBB, NMH, and MP3 as your first games. If you're really hardcore pick up Trauma Center: NB and Fire Emblem: RD, and if you don't already own the GC version of LoZ:TP it is a must play for the wii.

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition (Best use of the Wii Mote. Trust me)
Medal Of Honor Heroes 2
Trauma Center: New Blood
Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Super Mario Galaxy
No More Heroes
Mario Kart Wii (best online EVER, but use the cl*ssic controller)
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
World Of Goo (Wii Ware download. You MUST get this)
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Call of Duty: World At War
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles

You forgot Zack and Wiki. That game is an incredible puzzle/adventure game.

Personally, I would wait until The Conduit comes out. By then, you'll have a variety of Wii games to choose from that are actually GOOD. Until that time, I suggest spending your money elsewhere.YearoftheSnake5
