Did you update your PS3?qman101No, because I heard Firmware 2.53 causes problems, which might've been the reason my last PS3 bricked on me. Are you sure that's the reason why? It seems like Sony would include this ability right from the start.
Okay, this is getting VERY suspicious. You keep posting you want HELP, but you come to System Wars, Yet Again.(This is a new thread with the same theme from you, like the 4th thread!!!!).
Clearly, you don't seem to fully understand the PS3, I'm at a loss to think it's even the PS3 that's malfunctioning. You should go to the GS PS3 forum, or better yet, leave GS and go to a proper forum with tech gurus, so you get accurate and fast responses.
Seriously, it's your best bet.
Here, in SYSTEM WARS, you are just coming across as someone with an ulterior motive, ESPECIALLY since this isn't the first time you've done this thread.
Even if you don't have an agenda, other Fanboys will, which will just cause lot's of flaming.
I used to work retail, and so many times I saw people that broke their TV's, PC's, 360's, Wii's, etc and it was almost always because of the USER (about 85% of the time). They always try to hide it, but it was usually discovered upon inspection. I'm NOT saying that's your issue here, but this is the wrong forum, that's all.
:) I hope this helps, and if you have problems, I hope you find a great solution for you.
Also, did you install the game utility for LBP? What more, what did you extract the files from? Don't you think that perhaps you should've let them be?qman101No. I tried to update Uncharted 1.10 version, but it just left me at the "Please wait" menu for 10 minutes. So I just played the game, tried to put the file on it, and it didn't work. I didn't try the LBP one. http://ps3.brewology.com/?page=savedgames What do you mean by "let them be?"

Look through my posting history and see that I did put this junk in the PS3 forums, and nothing came up. Is it that ****ing ridiculous that I would have this many problems with the PS3? Could I possibly be telling the truth? You think I planned this whole thing out back in my blog in early 2008 in my BLOG when I said, "Not sure if I should get a PS3 or 360 for Christmas this year." Then I progressively lean towards the PS3, post that I'm getting a PS3 soon, leave my positive impressions on Uncharted, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Little Big Planet, and such. And then decide to fake its death two weeks later. Oh yeah, man. I get so much benefit out of people seeing this flustered gaming not being able to get his damn PS3 to work correctly. Clearly I can't just have problems with it. I also posted a number of messages on a bunch of different forums. This forum, NSider 2 forums, PlayStation official forums, some guy's blog on some site where I left a comment, the site I just linked to, and a bunch of others. Plus, you would see through my posting history that I was positive to the PS3 most of the time. But clearly this can't be the case. I must despise the PS3. I'm not showing you a picture of it or anything. Why? Because I don't have to do it for someone that won't help me.Go to GameFAQ's, go to saves, and just download someone else's 100 complete LittleBigPlanet Save. On the root(the very first window that you see when you open up ur USB from my computer) of your USB, make a file called 'PS3' then in that folder, make another folder called 'SAVEDATA' and in savedata, dump your save folders into it.
your save folders should be named something like 'BCES00104-RPLY2-B-C04A4704001' or 'BLES00246S' etc, you do not need to name them, its already named like that when you downloaded your save files from you old ps3 onto ur memory stick.
Same goes for videos, music, pictures and stuff, you have to go to the root of the stick and make 'PICTURE' folder for putting photos into and 'MUSIC' folder for putting music into and then only can your ps3 read whats there. Altho i think the ps3 auto detects pics and movies and music no matter where the files are.
But remember for savedata you HAVE to put it into PS3->SAVEDATA->(put save folders here)

Fine, if you help me, I will upload a video or photo of it on YouTube or somewhere else right now. But I have never uploaded a photo or a video. I don't believe so. It's the 160 GB that comes with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. There's a USB port, and something next to it that is about the same size. There's a few things on the back, but I doubt they are memory card slots. I haven't really checked. I could run downstairs and check, but I'm pretty confident it doesn't. EDIT: Just read original post, so you lost your LBP stuff and you cant get it back? Is this the only game?
What game saves are you trying to get? I just read that Team Ninja put a lock on their game saves...so maybe the games saves your trying to get has a lock on them?
Also, here a video of a guy backing up and restoring his data (which he did under "Settings" and not games.
P.S.- You can record the video on your phone then attach it to a message and send it to your email address...probably gonna cost a few cents though. If your phone has supports a microSD card then you could save it onto that and get it from off your pc.

If you don't, you should invest for a couple of reasons. Firstly, Transferring your Memory Card from your phone onto the PC would be easier with such an adapter (Usually less than $20).
Transferring your Video to YouTube shouldn't be a problem with such an adapter UNLESS your phone records in a proprietary format.
Also, that very same adapter can be used in the PS3, through USB ports. Then, you would be able to transfer saves no problemo (Of course, you will still an available MEMORY card as well). :)

Dude, how can u not know how to make a folder within a folder? Thats like something u learn when u get when u learn how to use a computer..
Go to my computer, open up the Drive, in it right click, Click on NEW, then FOLDER. A 'New folder' will pop up, and u rename it 'PS3', then you double click on PS3 and in it, you right click again, click on NEW and the click on FOLDER and rename that 'New folder' to 'SAVEDATA' and then extract whatever save file you downloaded from gamefaqs or whatever, and copy and paste the save FOLDER into 'SAVEDATA'.
And yes, the folders HAVE to be called PS3 and SAVEDATA because that is the Directory the Playstation 3 checks for save files, also when u copy a save file FROM the ps3 to USB, the ps3 automatically makes the PS3 and SAVEDATA files and copies ur ps3 savegames into it.
And the only EXAMPLE i gave to you was the 'BCES00104-RPLY2-B-C04A4704001' and other one. All games have thier own unique name for the savefolder. For example the BCES00104-RPLY2-B-C04A4704001 was the name of a save folder from my version of WipeoutHD.

Everyone said it was under Games. My mom will ***** at me for being up, but I think I am going to go try it right now. Although, I won't be surprised if it doesn't work because mine is a USB drive, and I got it off the Interent. But I will try.
Here's a picture of what it should look like on your PC
The names of the files may be different and that BCU... folder will be a different name.
Why are you posting various help threads on System Wars about PS3? Like we don't care, and we're starting not to believe you. I'm probably gonna get suspended for this but like, take it somewhere else please. Your sad attempt at setting up this whole PS3 thing (a few days ago making the MGS4 thread and stuff) is just lame. Please take this out of system wars :)-Sniper99-You always are offering your cruel advice to me. You say you don't care, yet you continue to click on the threads. Also, how the hell am I going to resolve this problem if I don't get help from other people? I admit the Metal Gear Solid 4 Difficulty thread would seem like I am setting this thing up, but that's because I had just completed Little Big Planet and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Also, Killaboo was right. It is under the Settings thing. The USB thing appeared, but it said I had no saves on there. I might PM some of you guys tomorrow for help. I will try everything tomorrow. Hell, I might ask my friend to help me get the video on YouTube just so I can freaking own all you guys and be like, "Yup, told you so." Also, to the other guy: I own Little Big Planet, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Haven't played it yet.), Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Didn't play it, but my brother did.), and Motorstorm: Pacific Rift. *SPOILERS!* If I was lying about the PS3, would I know that in Uncharted, at the beginning of the game, these men shoot Sully right in the heart after Sully telling them not to shoot Nathan Drake. He owes them money. You think he's dead. You meet up with Eilena, she shows you a video of Sully being alive. They think it's suspicious. She falls off the bridge, drops her camera, and Drake saves her. They save Sully, and says the book blocked the shot, and that "it only happens in the movies." Eddy is considered a "superstious idiot" by the British-accent bad guy. He asks Navarro if he's worth paying. Monsters come out of nowhere at the end in the tunnel, kill Eddy Raja after he taunts them by saying, "You can't mess with me!" or something like that. The British accent guy dies, and Navarro takes over. Nate serves some hefty punches, kills him, and Sully picks him and Eilena on the boat. *END SPOILERS!* I just showed you some minor plot details and phrases in the game so you know I'm not lying. Ask me anything about it or Little Big Planet. Anyway, it's 11:30 PM Central time. I need to go to bed because I have school tomorrow. Thank you all very much for the help. I will try what the other people said tomorrow and will TRY to get a video working on YouTube. SolidTy, I will call my sister from College, and ask her about the phone thing because I honestly don't know.
