The 360 having a headstart on this next gen means developers who are making PS3 exclusive games have to work harder in order to match the 360 out of the gate. This could mean better games being released for the PS3 in a shorter amount of time. Developers can't afford to be lazy with the PS3. w00terz
Devs will work harder, instead of porting their franchises to other consoles *cough*FFandAssassinsCreedonthe360*cough*. Yeah, they might lose money and they might not be able to sell their games on a poorly-marketed system, but HEY! That only will spur them to work HARDER! Yah for PS3!
Interesting theory. I own a PS3 and believe in the system but developers were somewhat skeptical about the system and only a few developers really jumped on the PS3 bandwagon at the start.
The games that are coming out are going to be good whenever they get here(hopefully).
Only time will tell if all the games will be worth the wait.
