I'm calling Sony out for inflating their game lineups at E3

Sony does this the most by far in comparison to Microsoft and Nintendo. Their E3 conferences always presents games that are years away from completion. You wouldn't see a movie trailer for something being released in 2018 would you? Kh3,ff7, last guardian. Shenmue is the only exception although it says 2018 I only announcef to get funding.

It seemed like Sony was being lazy by just showing video reel after reel without ever really talking much about the games. And they could've had a few live stage demos of their games, although most of the games shown probably won't even come out until 2018..

Their conference sucked. CoD? Skylanders? An orchestra? Lego? Just bad.

Yea guys, how dare they show us mass amounts of exclusive titles only available on the PS4.

I'd rather they talk for half the conference and introduce us to games that are also on Windows 10.

Even if that were true, they're still coming out...

I so glad more and more are catching on to Sony's slick E3 tactics of showing TBD TBA games. Hardly anything is coming out 2016 but yet their fans will say Sony won E3 2016 with the emphasis on 2016.

@NathanDrakeSwag: God of War looked abysmal. Days Gone has no release date. The Last Guardian will be received poorly, Horizon looked decent, Death Stranding was literally a CG trailer with nothing else, Spiderman, well I'll reserve judgment, Detroit was one of the worst games I seen at E3 this year. I'll be playing RE7 just fine without gimmicks on my X1, Craah being remastered was a bitch slap, and a tease, another remaster? Oh brother lol.

Yeah, it's difficult to even peg the release windows for some of these games. I expect 2018 for a bunch.

Sony had a good conference to say otherwise is just stupid talk.

They had a limited time window and a lot of games to show. Adding more elements and suits talking numbers would cut into the game time.

People have said they wanted more games, well this is the year for that.

Well win SONY wins E3 for 3rd straight year, people question their purchase. You shouldn't. It's ok that SONY won 2016 E3. Enjoy your purchase by golly!

I don't know how you could possibly say that considering they didn't even show Gran Turismo.

I dunno if that really is a list to get excited over. The 6th or 7th God of War. Generic Zombie game number 8003, A game that made its E3 debut a decade ago. Sizzle trailer with Reedus that we have no idea what it is? Spiderman. Choose your own adventure, the game? A multiplat horror game and a triple pack of remasters?

The only game that really got my attention was Horizon. It showed gameplay, features, and action. You get a good feeling for what the game is and what is possible. But it was also shown last year so its not exactly new stuff.

Come on man be a little more objective. Sony's E3 conference is not the world beater that people are making it out to be.

Yeah, I'm not too thrilled with them showing off games that are so far out they're probably not even PS4 games. I'll enjoy the hell out of God of War 4 whenever it comes out though, and Days Gone, TLG, and a bunch of others. I gotta ask though. Is anything other than TLG coming out in 2016? Trying to figure out how much $ I need to set aside for this and I'm not sure what the answer is. I'd love a list of all the games from E3 with release dates if one is out there.

Days Gone looked like The Last of Us, and it might as well be.

2014 went to Nintendo actually. In fact, Gamespot did a nice little article on it:

I don't mind it because that's what I want to see in a press conference: a bunch of games. It gives me something to look forward to later. I don't care if they aren't right around the corner. There's plenty of games for me to play for the time being. I have a strong backlog.

But I also don't mind it because I'm not into the whole competition thing. I'll let the fanboys argue about what's better.

Except that some of these games have already been announced for 2018. And I wouldn't be shocked in the least if some of the get delayed into 2019.

If sony didn't show lots of games then the people complaining now would bitch even more.

Because M$ doesn't delay anything right? QB was delayed for years. Scalebound and Crackdown 3 both got delayed to 2017. The only games they can get out on time are Halo, Gears and Forza.

There's always examples. I could also point out The Last Guardian. I have family who were not even conceived when that game was announced. Since that announcement, they were born, raised, and are now grade schoolers.

this topic is ridiculous btw, since both companies are guilty of the same thing in this E3. Horizon, last guardian have release Dates. As a matter of fact, the majority of MS E3 games, were shown last E3 already
