They could always make RE5 Wii edition using the RE4 engine I suppose.

What this guy said. Most of Capcom's Resident Evil offerings haven't even shown up on a Nintendo system if you count all the spin-offs and secondary games.

Oh yeah, they were. But they were still ports, and were later ported to the GC as well.

Nah... RE5 is meant to be played with really great graphics.

And anyways RE:UC looks REALLY good for an on-rails shooter. I wasn't excited about it, but now I am. That new trailer makes it look sooo good.

Guess where they started off in life? Also no...RE3 wasn't on N64. RE3 was on PC and Dreamcast before GCN though (and those versions have additional content over the GCN version).

Yes, I know they started on the PS1 (I owned RE2) but I thought RE3 was on the N64.

Naw..not RE3, N64 was pretty much irrelevant by the time it released (maybe RE2 didn't do so well on N64 either..don't know really).

Capcom has already stated that the heating and iight effects they want to show off with RE5, and it's desert setting just isn't possible without next gen hardware. And thats why I bought a PS3 and a 360 along with the little lagging-behind-lunch-box.

You're only disappointed in Capcom if you're a Wii fan, They're doing awesome things for the other two platforms, Resident Evil 5, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, Devil May Cry 4.

I'm disappointed with Capcom because they haven't done the following two things yet: -Make a Steel Battalion sequel for the X360, PS3, or PC (as if that's ever going to happen, especially with Inaba and company leaving to form SEEDs or whatever it was called) -Port/remake Okami for the Wii (Think about it-the Wiimote would work well as a Celestial Brush!)

I want that on rails RE more than RE5... mostly because it has parts of the orignal resi evil :P

And i think that code veronica is somehow also in it :P

I only want resi evil 5 for graphics and story... and i want chris as main lead

Snagal123

Why is it bad? They're still putting out good stuff in the system they believe is most appropiate (or available). The "loyality" [sic] you speak of has very rarely been useful or beneficial to anyone but fanboys.
