You knew what games were released and what games were coming in the close future and you decided purchased it anyway, who's to blame? Wii had much better games for the first months than the Ps2 and Ps1 did, i can tell you that. The Only console that delivered many awesome titles at launch was the DC.

Is like buying the 360 and complain:

"Where are the adventure games and plataformers?

Kameo? I rented it and beat it!

Im only interested in for Blue Dragon and Banjoo!"

I think the Wii is great if you like the Mario and Zelda games, at least as far as I can see.  Other than that, it's only a cool tool for entertaining guests at a party.  It kind of reminds me of DanceRevolution, I just get no satisfaction dancing with myself rofl.  If I'm going to play a game that is multiplat, its going to be on PS3 or X360.  Spiderman is a good example, a bad game made twice as bad when playing it on the Wii.  The only thing I like about the Wii right now is the $249 pricetag and the hopeful future of holding a virtual lightsaber decapitating a stormstrooper.

IMHO there is no possible way for someone who calls himself a true gamer to only buy a Wii this generation. It offers so much to the casual market, but so little to hardcore gamers...

Be smart, get a 360 or a Ps3. The Wii alone can't sustain you.

? The Dreamcast crushed the Ps2 line-up so much that it wasn't even funny, it was sad actually.

so wait TC your impressed with what the Ps3 has from there gamers day.  the hype went up for the ps3, cause of there gamers day. you do know nintendo is having one too next week, right? the reason why youre disappointed with the wii so far, is cause theres hardly any great game for it right now

super paper mario is NOT that great a game... I have played through all the other ones which were great, but this is just a rehash of the last with a new game play style... all the music! the music is very annoying! I cant even bring myself to go beyond the kragons stage because every level is the same thing, back forth back forth back forth... why do I have to keep going back to beginning.....then the retarted part were I have to right down a 35 part list of arrow commands to open up a pipe!? gimme a break... why is this games idea of gameplay having to fill an entire notebook page with directions on how to finish the game.

 Im looking forward to 3rd party wii games that will come from atlus later next year ( not announced yet)... but without HD it kinda feels old.

I agree that the Wii cannot sustain a gamer.... I use it mostly for looking at wikipedia. but will start playing again when the rush of JRPGS gets released on the wii within the next two years.

one other "beef" is that all the games feel poor quality, that and, sonic in my opinion deserved a 2... it was awful o.orevolution2k6

im tired of gamers saying that the wii cant sustain a gamer. a true gamer doesnt own one console.  no one console can please a gamer, unless hes fanboy. last gen i owned 2 console and still wasnt pleased with owning just 2.

no single console can feed the need of a gamer today. the only way a person would only want one console, is because there a dedicated fanboy to that particular console. the wii, like the ps3 and xbox360 as a stand alone console isnt the way to go. if you have a xbox360 and just that you'll be missing out on games on the ps3 and wii, get where im getting here?

For the price of the Ps3 you could have bought all the 3 last gen consoles.

I'd suggest getting a 360 along with your wii. The PS3 has even less to offer than the Wii and its bene out for the same amount of time...flclempire
