That's madness. I've never spent or thought I would spend this much cash on games in a year. I had a pretty big wishlist but I narrowed it down because there was too much on there. So I still want:
Battlefield: Bad Company Guitar Hero II Forza 2 Burnout 5 Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Mass Effect Grand Theft Auto 4 Mercenaries 2: World in Flames Army of Two Halo 3
That's € 600 in games. I guess I could drop Army of Two, but the rest I really want. I guess I'm not going to get multiple systems after all this generation. No way I can afford all of it. I'll just have to stick to my X360 which right now looks like no problem at all except money wise.
So, what games do you plan to get this year and how much would it cost you?
There is planty of great games(will be i hope atleast) for all consols this year to only stick to one consol, but i will still get a PS3 when its released in europe, must have what is new, no mather the cost.

(NZD) My 2 brothers will probably buy some of these though, or we'll split the prices on ones we're all anticipating, so It won't be too bad. I've also probably forgotten about 10 games that would go on my list...
I am going to miss a ton of titles. Mostly 360 and PC ones... seeing as how my PC is becoming outdated and I still have yet to get a 360. Hopefully I can find some large source of income soon.

every system can be justified depending on the games that you like. Dont go off of just the AA - AAA titles.... there are several others that people will love and buy.

I never see people here mentioning Grey Matter, Apart from AdrianW once or twice. It should be great, I wish there was more info on it.
Edit: :( I just checked the GS page to see if there was any new info, as I havn't checked it since last year sometime... It's coming in 2008 now.
I don't even really know what I spend on video games...I just swipe that plastic and it's done with...Then I write that check every month to pay the bill...

I spent about 3k last year on games and systems. Going to go easy this year but still, easy 1k. Cheaper than when I was doing a ton of PC gaming. Was blowing close to 5k a year then....

Good list. I'll be taking away the ones I have highlighted and adding Blue Dragon, Assassins Creed, Too Human, Shadowrun, Bioshock and hopefully Lost Odyssey if it comes out in 2007.
