I'm Happy PS3 is failing

Sony destroyed gaming with PS1 and PS2. They nevery brought anything to the table except massive crappy 3rd party support and the following games in the system.

Winning Eleven Series for football fanatics like me.

Final Fantasy 12, the only Final Fantasy that's different.

Tekken series, but it was an arcade game.

ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, Wow I never thought originality was possible on the crab station.

God of War series, fun arcade action.

Resident Evil, made the survival horror a success, even though it was inspired by Alone in the Dark on PC.

Hell, I was happier with the N64 and GameCube. Nintendo = Originality, they make things work and Sony copies them.

Even Microsoft will have a positive effect, by bringing PC and console gaming and Western depth influence to gaming. However, sony just sucks.

Note: I might have forgotten some good games for the POS Stations, but I doubt it.

Oh, and to stay on topic: I do think there is some truth to be said that strong 3rd party support doesn't nessecarily mean good games, but it leaves more chance for there to be.

No. no one can destroy gaming.  But they can destroy themselves.  and that is what they are doing with PS3. BTW psone is my favorite console of all time.

Yep I'm anti Sony and PS1 sucked, Saturn had better games while it lasted. " Buttta teh Final Fan assy thing" Get a life, not everybody liked stupid FF games, I played better RPGS on PC instead. Sony had no good games published by them that were any good unti later in the PS2 life. The PS2 had a handful of interesting games, but 90 % of the games were crappy or just copies of other games. WII and PC rule YEAH !! FlopStation 3 is dead.hamidious

And just because Nintendo creates games for the same characters, doesn't mean the games are the same, I mean look at Metroid Prime and Super Metroid, the gameplay is very different even though the essential concept is the same.

there was no xbox to compete against PSone, so that stat is a phailure.  Cows are just jealous because they had to buy bluray and it doesent even help games any.  Just make the load times longer.  PSone was great, PS2 was good, PS3 is pushing the boundaries of what consumers are willing to spend.

The PS3 is another PS1 and PS2 just more expensive, I mean I laughed my ass off when I learned sony was copying (miserably) the Wiimote. I have an insider in Sony's Entertainment R&D and here's some snippets from their meetings

Sony R&D guys : " Let's add this motion sensor thing to our N64 controller copy !.... but without rumble so they don't know we are copying "

Sony R&D " I think our fans are dieing for another game where you can kill Giant Enemy Crabs, where you hit their weak spot for MASSIVE DAMAGE!! and it should be based on TRUE HISTORY!"

Honestly though, most PS1 and PS2 games sucked, just because they sold millions doesn't mean they are any good. When I say Sony Killed Gaming I mean they killed Creativity in gaming, maybe not but they came close.
