What did they do to it? Granted, the orginal GeOW's multiplayer was broken, but at least it was addicting.
My issues:
Clunky Clunky Clunk fest:
I feel like some fat guy in plated armor with an arsenal of weapons that shoot peas. It's all so slow and it's a pain just move, being that you have to dodge obstacles as you run the risk of pasting yourself to them. Oh and when I get knocked to down by a grenade I want to shut my 360 off. It's the stupidest mechanic they could of added, and the rag doll animation looks like a hideous bunch of limbs glitching all over the ground.
Weapons:
Do you want to know how to play GeOW online? You sprint to the nearest weapon on the map that makes people go boom. No I'm not bad, it's just silly how they place a sniper rifle in the middle of the map and everyone dies over it. Then when someone manages to pick it up, the game turns into a 3 minute + camp fest.
No Satisfaction:
Killing people in GeOW no longer feels good to me, this is a personal opinion but being as the game feels so broken, kills just feel kinda iffy.
Weather:
So they've added some odd effects to some of the maps. At first I questioned, "am I supposed to think this is cool?" It isn't. It is utterly obnoxious to have hail fall on you every 60 seconds.
They should of kept the 8 player max and the smaller maps, polished the glitches up, and added some weapons that are actually fun to use and require more skill. That's my opinion.
I'm not gonna label GeOW2 a bad game, since these issues are probably only felt by me. Instead I'm just gonna say it's clearly not for me, I like more fluid feeling shooters like CS or Halo, and to compare a TPS -- GRAW 2 online was a lot cooler than GeOW2 online.
What do you think of GeOW2 multiplayer?
