Bundling Gears would be pretty sweet though. I'd buy it.

It wouldn't work as well. IT's the same when Cows claim Resitance 2 will move consoles.... Gears started on the 360, anyone who's a fan already owns a 360, or sold one for whatever reason. If they sold one, odds are they wont buy one again. If they own one, well, that's obvious. IF they don't own a 360, odds are a sequal won't motivate them to buy a console when they havn't played the first game. I could be wrong, who knows, but I think it's safe to assume I have a good theory going here.
That being said, if they really want to move consoles, they should Bundle Banjo or Fable with the 360, that will move more consoles.

I think they are doing pretty damn good sells wise who would have though they could hold there own with the ps3 anywhere not me.....and they are as long as they keep making everything the ps brand had a multiplat then they will keep doing good and making new IPs of there own that they produce then there golden the rest of this gen next gen though they need to think of how to beat the ps brand not just hang with it.

I was buying it. Until I realised that here it's only a 40GB been packed with sixaxis. I'm not buying a PS3 untill I can get Dual Shock 3 as standard. It's $100 fo ar DS3 here, and Im not paying an extra $100 for somnething that should have been standard to begin with.Marka1700

People are quite content with DVD (even tho Blu-Ray looks great on HDTVs). I always saw this as a scam really because it's quite easy to fit HD content on a standard DVD.

At this rate, who knows what Sony will bundle their PS3s next, it might be even sweeter. I mean who knows, they might have a bundle that includes a DS3, hdmi cables, and a blue tooth headset, packed in with a game or movie for $300 bucks.

People have waited this long and they're getting a sweet bundle, so I expect people who waits longer will get a sweeter bundle.

Yep, blu ray being like the Titanic is a great description. I mean sure the Titanic was built and was a success just like blu ray winning the format war, until an unforeseen problem sunk it. Blu ray dvds are so expensive, and sales are dropping like the people jumping off the ship.

How is that? Are you coming sales year over year which have increased or sales last quarter to the quarter before which was Christmas and the Holidays?

I'm talking MS/Sony business here. I'm using myself as an example of why Sony has a good strategy. If you can't see this then maybe you should just give up reading.
