High prices we cant really do much about, just import if its becoming a problem, its cheaper (even if just..) as for the censorship, thts total bull....excrement (just run with it) and i feel we as aussie gamers need to truly band together. There isnt enough of a movement. With that said, im off to the aussies boards...

I thought Australia uses the PAL system the same as Europe?, just import your games from the UK, the value of the £ is pretty poor right now so you should be able to get games at a reasonable price.

This. Although I do agree we need the R18+ rating, there hasnt been a game banned that made me unhappy.
To be honest, censoring isn't that big of a deal to me. The only game I've cared for that's been censored this generation is GTAIV, the vast majority of games are left alone. But hey, we get Gears 2 a day before the rest of the world (except New Zealand :evil: ).

It isn't anymore. Bethesda just had to change the names of the drugs from real world names to made-up names, now all versions will be using made-up names.

they don't allow R18+ games in the country.Correction - only few games dont pass that rating.
Games that are usually US17+ are MA15+ here.
Only a few get blocked from sales, and you can import them if you want to.

Ye we do get scr3wed alot.... though my bday and xmas is coming up so i can get a few games for free xD lol Censorship aint that big a deal for me... But prices are... as someone said dont buy at EB , Some retails like JB have games for cheaper
Kmart , target , errr , GAME , Harvey norman , Myers , David Jones..take a pick... Not saying they ARE cheaper though they could have sales on , pays to shop around.
