Prefering one system/game game to another system/game hasn't stopped people from objecting and rejecting other's opinions. It's a debate like everything else.

After playing the Uncharted 3 beta, I was actually less excited for Uncharted... and I idolize that damn series. Oh well (still gonna get it).

I love the Uncharted campaigns but the multiplayer is the most generic crap I have ever played. lets combine SOCOM, with call of duty, and set it in indiana jones levels, and have really unresponsive movement and call that the multiplayer. Im sorry but Gears of War 3 **** all over many multiplayer games out right now and so far ive only played the beta.

You can sprint, it takes much longer to kill someone, just like in UC2 pre patch.

There is customization. New modes. You have Loadouts like COD, in UC2 you got picked up weapons, but you can't get any power weapons like the Pistole, RPG, Grenade Launcher etc, without finidng them. Also, there is something like killstreaks where after a certain number of medals, you can do something like Spawn an rpg, dissapear, turn into spiders, etc. Its called a Kickback. Theres the buddy system, where you can spawn on your buddy ( but you can't do that in combat ) and everytime you and your buddy kill an enemy together, you can high five for points.

Wouldn't that mean the campaign is generic too considering it is basically the same thing. Just it is multiplayer and less cinematic. Same maps, environments.. Know what I mean?

Lemme guess, its a cod clone because it has competitive multiplayer modes which come standard in almost every multiplayer game?

Well people say it plays like cod now.... and I obviously disagree with them. Maybe the game took some idea from them, but thats not necessarily a bad thing. And the few gameplay I have seen looks great, I really do like the idea of the buddy system.

never been a huge uncharted guy, the graphics are some of the best this gen but idk just couldn't get into it.

Sure it doesn't have the super space soldiers on steroids with bowling ball sized muscles, but the gameplay in the multiplayer truly is something unique.

Im sure you could find a better vid. Gears 3 beta does look alot better!

Lol, good one!! I don't know what people are talking about. I just clicked on the link and it played the 720p video and it looked great.I played both gears and uncharted online (alot more gears). But what I think is that Uncharted is just plain fun, I never really cared when I died. Gears on the other hand would get me to rage sometimes. Maybe is was the lag, or gliching in gears but uncharted never had any of that like gears does.

The graphics look dated, Crysis 2 and Witcher 2 look way better

All I see in this topic are people who are bad trolls, never played the beta, or just wanted to look stupid (which most of you succeeded in doing).

A wrong choice of video btw. Get a best plays of the week instead.

Sorry, but Uncharted angine and PS3 hardware are 6 years old now, we are past that for nearly 2 years now and 2011 has games already released that make Uncharted 3 look ancient
