I'm sorry to rehash what's already been said, but Uncharted 2... *56k*

is really THAT good. I played through the campaign when it first came out and was stunned with the polish this game had. It seemed almost too good to even be made by human hands! Well, I just played through it again and I'm truly amazed by how great the second time was. I think I even enjoyed this journey more than the first! The scenes in this game are fanfreakin'tasic. It's amazing that the head guy on Damnation was the man responsible for the best scenes in Uncharted 2. Naughty Dog scooped him up and used his talents in a good way.

The most surprising aspect of this masterpiece, however, is its online multiplayer (also lead by an ex-Damnation dev). It takes the Gears of War cover gameplay, but then it makes it more frantic and fun, and then layers on vertical gameplay on top of that. It's a combination of different gameplay styIes that work so damn well together. And the polish the single player has is nearly perfect.

Rarely does a game offer every mode and come off strong in every single way (coughresistance2cough), but Naughty Dog made every mode fun, polished, and exciting.

I can't wait to see what Naughty Dog has in store for Drake's 3rd adventure.

Eh, maybe it just wasn't for you, perhaps? Most critics and gamers carry the same view on Uncharted 2 as I do. It's that good.

only thing i dont like about the multiplayer is it takes to many shots to kill someone and i cant run fast other then that i think itd pretty good for there first try at it especially the co op

ps3 owner dont play it tho the highest ive seen online is 10k sometimes i think what if naughtdog worked with the 360 it would be awesome

Its definitely one of the top games of 2009, but I still prefered Dragon Age's campaign and Killzone 2's multiplayer so I can't rank it as my #1, but probably around the 3rd best for me this year.

well, i'm glad the PS3 finally got it's "killer app" or whatever. guess i'll have to settle for Gears 2. /sarcasm

I played through the campaign, loved it, then immediately started playing through it again this time on crushing and am loving it even more.

Its one of those true gems.

Uncharted 2 is really good! After I'm done with AC2 I'll start my 3rd playthrough.

Honestly, I never have any issues finding players. There's always tons of people online.

I thought it was amazing the first time, but it got boring the second time because I already knew every cutscene and the platforming lost it's "excitement" and "thrill" when you knew what to do.

I'll start playing Gears 2 next week, but Gears 1 blows away UC2 imo, so im pretty sure the sequel will, unless they broke it.

I'm big on a game's story (when it relies on it). Will I need to know the events of Uncharted 1 in order to understand Uncharted 2 (assuming I get Uncharted 2)?
