im starting to like my ps3 more than my 360 !!!

and i feel really suprised,  i love the old free60 but , well ive got a plasma tv and hdmi ready and the ps3 is using it to the max whereas my 360 is still chugging away on component.

my 360 has better controller but the ps3 has sixaxis which is rubbish for online or serious racing but great fun to play with,  theres not been any really great 360 games in a while (graw 2 is abit boring )

the ps3 looks better as a machine and home is coming

the 360 has got fight in it but no enough i think

Get the Elite, problem solved.  I have both, and while I agree the PS3 looks betterboth aesthetically and through 1080p, once the elite arrives with its jet black finish, and HDMI, it all boil down to the games, online, and controller, all of which 360 is superior. 

You should download the def jam and armored core 4 demos on both system and compare, you will be very happy you have a 360.

Yeah i feel the same, lucky you never need play with the D-pad more than easy stuff like change weapon etc :)

And the controller argument is definately completely opinion based. The Sixaxis (aside from being a little flimsy) is a major improvement ove Dualshocks. 360's controller just feels bulky and almost too form fitting to me.  The analog sticks are much more sensitive and have a bigger range of movement in Sixaxis than 360. But to each his own just don't state your opinions as fact to try and manipulate people.

Hell, I went to a kiosk and played PS3, and later went home and played some PS2 games.  The PS3 controller is garbage compared to the PS2 one, due to lack of weight, runble, and also the stupid L2 and R2 triggers. 

Honestly I still love my 360 bottom line it has some great games out for it

Controller wise.....gimme a f**in break, fanboys complain about Ps3's contoller design

Yet Sony has had the same great design for over 10 years with no one complaining

I like 360's contoller but as a gamer I'm just used to Sony's it just feels whats the right word for it

I actually returned my 360 today....TrueReligion_

The 360 pad is awsome for most games but Microsoft let themselves down with the worse D-pad ever invented!

I like to use the D-pad alot so the PS3 controller is a nice change and i love its light feel.

When it comes to choosing if i buy the next Pro evo soccer game for the PS3 or 360 the PS3 will be my choice due to the d pad.

Maybe I'm spoiled with the PS controllers but...I like my PS3 controller more so than a XBOX360 stick

things I don't like about the 360 stick....

1. D-pad (like many others)

2. and the triggers....I have never been to big on triggers so its still hard to get used to them (their too thin for me)

I think it has to do witch MS games using the triggers for more Shooter games where as with the PS controller you need       (R2-L2)      for all times of games...... 

3.  you have to buy a rechargeable pack for the controller ($20) or spend money on batteries (PS3 comes with a usb charger cable that you can use for all your other controllers, or you can go spend $5 for extra ones at most stores....

things I like about the 360 controller....

 1 very comfortable layout 

 2 Rumble.....

I can play FPS just fine with the PS3 stick..... Resistance did a great job with there button layout

I've always disliked the Playstation controller for FPS's and prefered the Xbox's greatly. Hell, I'd even choose the N64's back trigger for FPS rather than those little stubs on the Playstations. In all other games especially fighting ones the playstations I like a bit better.

That's cool. I can understand that, the PS3 is a new platform with new games on it.

Come May/June when the MS lineup starts hitting the 360, you'll be playing your 360 again I'm sure. 

I was very surprised about the ps3 controller. I love racing games and thought I'd miss rumble alot but I don't and actually prefer its light weight over the 360's heavy controller. I like the position of the analog sticks more and their shape and the d-pad is better on ps3.

ps3 is super silent and just looks better in a living room. 360 is for a game room or kids bedroom and ps3 is meant to be the center of the living room. And the games so far are great and i'm sure it will get a huge catalog.
