Im starting to see the truth now, Sony IS the future

Just picked up a psp 3000 and a ps3. (An xbox 360 and ds owner) I also picked up some psp games and uncharted 2, god of war 3, mgs4 I'm 5 hours into uncharted 2 and god of war 3 and wow just wow. My jaw was dropped throughout the entire time. Just when i think one awesome moment ends another STARTS!! I also tried my psp. It is FAARR better than my ds. Metal gear solid peace walker is incredible. Sony is the future. They have the most powerful console. They have an awesome handheld. Sony is improving gaming like you wouldnt know. I was a lemming but now im leaning more towards cow.GodOfDogWar

So you had to create an alternate account for this?

Well if you have already played the 360 best games then yes. I do agree with you, i think Sony is showing much more potential for the future of gaming. MS is all to much about making money and not making great games. Sony has continued doing great things for gaming and i support them 110%Kokuro_Kun

No offense friend but trying to explain my opinion will be all for nothing since in another post you're "110% for sony". Not calling you a fanboy but, I dont think the conversation is going to lead anywhere.

Doesnt mean other platforms are without. PS3 has been my favorite console for the majority of this gen, but it looks like the Wii will be my new favorite before too long. Its all about preference. You might be going nuts over what Sony has to offer, but that does not make them "the future".

On a side note I wish I could be blown away by God of War. My friend gave me GoW3, absolutely free, and I still couldnt bring myself to play for more than 30 minutes. I dont see how a person could enjoy games like that today when we were playing gems like NGB five years ago.

Technically, Crysis looks better than Uncharted 2. That is objective.

Artistic direction is completely subjective so there's no point in debating about that.

Well I own a ps3 and I really like it, but I always come back to my 360. Xbox live got me hooked since xbox 1 and for me, it's a BIG part of my gaming future, but will always keep an opened door to other cool stuff, yup TC Uncharted 2 is incredible, love it, but God of War, nope, not for me ;) Can't wait for Starcraft 2!!! Halo Reach!!!Gears of War 3!!! GT5!!!! Yup, nice future ahead ;) Yes I know, the wii is left out, just don't have time for it :(

if we want to argue quality of said 3d, and we want to ignore Nintendo's previous efforts. you still have to pretend Nvidia and some other companies were never around.

Sony originaly priced the PS3 at $600. And MS is the arrogant one? Sony is extremely arrogant and boastful. Not that all companies aren't, its just that MS isn't the only one.

and they do change over time. so in 15 years this 3d might not be considered 'real' or something.

besides, as the one user brought up, PC has the same 3d tech, and it's been around for like 2 years. so that would be Nvidia, not Sony.

I played it on an HDTV, and it looked decent, but was underwhelming in the end. GOW2 was better and UC2 looks much more consistent.
