I don't understand why someone would be upset by it? It was actually a pretty interesting plot twist.

I think TC got the timeline mixed up, it suggests that he killed JFK before and not after that mission since JFK died in 1963 and the mission is in 1968.

Lmao.

As it's been said, you were wrong about what he implied. I don't see how, I thought it was pretty straightforward.

The only thing that upset me about the game was the few sections that had respawning enemies and were extremely annoying (Mission 3 corridors I believe, Khe Sahn and the rooftops if you were an idiot like me an tried to get the dual-wield achievement as well)

Im more upset that people think it's funny to run around with swaztika's as emblems.

I mean thats a symbol for the genocide of an entire peopke and treyarch had the balls to put that kind of thing in.
Really?

I mean listen I don't mind seeing it in the single player game as whatever their portraying is part of history.

But to have people running around with it online there's something wrong.

Same here. I saw it for the first time when I was playing yesterday on PSN. I think PSN needs to do what Microsoft is doing and banning those people who use it.

Just like MW2's airport scene, I don't take it seriously. It's a piece of fiction and I understand that. This is the same reason why I can be Christian and enjoy "bad" movies like The Golden Compass. If you take it seriously that's your problem. Granted, some games/movies do go a little too far sometimes but I don't see this as one of the cases.

And they did not add swastikas as offical emblems i think.

Treyarch didn't add it, people created it using different pieces and layers. You can create anything with 12 layers and over what..500 pieces? I've seen people create some really impressive things that you wouldn't think was possible. I'm sure creating a swastika can be done in 5 minutes.

You really should keep up on your news, even though Fidel Castro is still alive, he is not the current president, nor has been for the past 2 or 3 years. Anyway, I really like the implication thing, was really well done with Mason possibly killing JFK.

One question arises-- did Mason kill JFK consciously? Or did the brainwashing have complete control, thereby rendering Mason mentally and emotionally blameless?

You have a russian with you through the whole black ops campaign and skittle is saying that COD is depicting them as villians?

Besides it's an american made game. EVERYTHING the americans do depicts themselves in a glorious victorious manner because americans dont lose. It's Kind of sad really.

If the game were made in russia it would be backwards and the russians would be glorified.

two russians, actually. weaver who is awesome because he looks like big boss, and reznov who is still just as cool as he was in WaW. and americans aren't all that glorified in CoD games. especially in IW's games. plus technically pretty much every english-speaking country saw Russia as evil in the 60s. "Commies are everywhere, ah!!1" oh, and in the MW games, only some of the russians are bad. nikolai is a good guy.

MathMattS

he was totally under control. he had no idea that he killed JFK already when he spoke to Dragovich when in reality he did only a few days after he blew up the limo and he went dark for 5 years. during that time, who knows what else he was doing. hudson said that portions of his memory went dark. after hudson broke the brainwashing, he only just then started regaining some of his memories. (when he started shouting things like "OSWALD COMPROMISED!" and babbling about ascension and the codes that you see at the end, were the time, date and location of JFK, as well as what kind of gun to use.

even more interesting is JFK's emails. go to the computer on the main menu and type: Login, then type JFKennedy, then type LANCER, then type mail. read the emails from "john trent".

and to really screw with you mind, look at john trent's emails to Hudson. Hudson's username is Jhudson and his password is BYRANT1950.

How is this a sensitive subject. You didn't actually kill him. They didn't show you doing it. It was implied. Being that there are still many theories to the murder, it fit perfectly into the story.

umm...you do realize that the CIA really did try to kill Castro in the 60's right? hell here's a few from CNN according to a former top ranking Cuban official, the CIA tried to kill him 638 times.

[QUOTE="Skittles_McGee"] Ironically, COD does the opposite, generally painting the Russians as the guys who don't mess around and get the job done. Generally speaking anyway.antifanboyftw

Also it's important to note that in COD4 it was not russia that tried to start WW3, it was a small military cell within the government. Same in MW2, but that time they succeeded in getting the powers to fight.

Treyarch's CoDs anyways. In MW2... well, I don't think I have to say anything there. In MW1, even the allied Russians were looked on with contempt by Price and Gaz.
