Im thinking of gettin an Xbox....

Yeah Ive been playing games for a while now, but only PC and original xbox games. I think its time I get a next gen console before it is too late. The wii seems to childish and simplistic for me... and its lack of hardcore games puts it out of the running.

The only two left are the Ps3 and the 360. I am leaning a lot more torwards the 360 right now for several reasons.

-I already have a ton of original xbox games

-I am looking forward to 360 exsclusives like Halo 3, Gears of War 2, and Dead Rising

-Price is a major issue here, cause the less money I have to spend on console I get to spend on more games.

-Most of my friends have a 360, where as only 2 of mine have Ps3's

So far, the only reason I could think of getting a Play Station 3 is that it wouldnt get the RROD.

If you have any suggestions as to what I sould get, or what games or anything at all, please post em'.

I'll tell you right now, Halo 3 and Dead Rising are awesome games. I'm actually playing Dead Rising right now.

Which ever system you end up buying it'll be fine, both are solid systems. Multi-plats aren't a problem since they both run the same on each system. Just figure out which exclusives you want to play and go from there.

Maybe if you like shooters but even the PS3 is catching up this fall. Resistance 2: Fall of 360 + Killzone 2 will obliterate the 360.

Even if they were mediocre games, that doesn't speak for the quality of the sequels.

got 7.9 average. I don't know all future games so not my fault.

Is your PC is good enough to play the new games get a PS3 the exclusives on that rarely to never show up on PC while most. Though if your PC is a bit old then get the 360 since it seems to be what you want. I can't say anything about RROD since mine is working fine, and it was 2nd shipment. Also Dead rising is a good game.never100

Well, my PC isnt too outdated, I mean I can play the Orange Box maxed out and everything... but I am pretty sure that it wont hold up to this new batch of games coming out soon- Mirror's Edge, Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead, and others

Sounds like your best bet is to get a 360. When the 1st Xbox came out I had the best PC system for the time, so thats why i never got a xbox. This time around I didn't want to spend the money to upgrade my PC (also I use mac now) so I got the 360. Also just putting this out there. If your interested in Blu-Ray. That would be a factor in getting a PS3. You didn't mention it, but I thought I add that.

The way I beat him (well most of the bosses) was with the Real Mega Buster. To get this you need to get the ZombieGenocider achivement. The best way to do this is start a new game and when you can get to the underground tunnels and just drive over as many zombies as you can till you hit the right amount (53,594) then get an ending. When you play again it will be in the room with Otis on the other side of the went system in that room. Kills bosses easy.

Try and get a Jasper since those might have reduced RROD chances.

You'll have a good game library, you won't have to pay for a wifi adapter, you get a bluray player, you won't have to worry about it breaking on you, free online and a lot of people around here seem to think it has a brighter future. But if you can afford it get both, since both have enough quality games to be considered worth owning. NielsNL

I dont even have blue ray movies though. Only got a ton of dvds. I understand that a lot of people think it has a brighter future, but that is kind of a gamble...

When they start losing devs then that would be the time to worry about sale but so far it's not happening.

Get a 360 first and if you have enough money later than get a ps3
