I am torn between buying a PS4 + PS VR or building a gaming PC. I really think the VR plus PS exclusives, are worth the purchase. I also really love the idea of PC gaming, I could play old games that aren't available, on my Xbox One. I also don't really no anyone on PC, plus I wonder what games I would play on PC above my One. However, I believe gaming on PC would be awesome! I know that doing the single player mods and all on GTA 5 would be a blast! That's one of the tings I really want to go.

I don't know which to purchase to make. The PC I would build would be around $700. Running with and i5 and GTX 1060.

PSVR sucks. It's better to build a gaming PC and save up for HTC Vive down the line.

Edit: I would actually recommend waiting for Scorpio. All your Xbox One games will work on it, it'll be capable of using VR, and it'll have mods at least with Bethesda games. It'll probably be cheaper than the PC you plan on building.

But if you're interested in PS4 exclusives then go for the PS4 since it looks really promising.

PS4 or a PC are both good options depending if you care much about performance or what exclusive games have more of your attention, but fvck VR. Its a waste of money

If you want to experience garbage get a PS4 and PSVR. If you want to experience PSVR, PSPro is your ONLY choice.

Its more trouble than its worth it.

I recommend getting a PS4 Pro if you are getting a PSVR, because PSVR on standard PS4 isn't all that hot from my understanding.

Also, don't build a $700 PC. You won't get a good VR experience out of it anyway not to mention a headset will cost you another $600 - $800. With that budget you should get a PS4 Pro and a PSVR.

In my opinion pc gaming is superior, but you should pick the option that will give you the most enjoyment. Some of the best pc exclusives are quite complex and might not be your thing, especially if you haven't played on pc previously. If you like simple and cinematic exclusives and don't care much about graphics nor complexity you can always go for playstation, but I personally prefer pc exclusives, they are far more interesting and innovative to me.

Make a list of games you want for each platform and that you can't play on the Xbox One, after that, choose the list with more games that you can't wait to play. And that's your answer.

I give PC gamers a lot of shit but PC is a great choice especially coming off xbox there would literally be no drawbacks outside of maybe xbox friends online.

To be honest without knowing what your gaming tastes are I couldn't give you a proper and honest answer. I can say that if you were an xbox gamer then Either PC or PS4 would give you a world of other experiences that you would not find while not loosing much in the process as most of xbox titles are multiplatform anyway.

1. If you're mostly into shooter, RTS, sim and multiplatform games go with PC

2. If your interested in high quality AAA level exclusives and Japanese action/RPG/adventure/fighting games that you can't play anywhere else go with PS4

Wait for Xbox Scorpio. Better quality, better games, better performance, better comfort, VR, backwards compatibility all at a cheaper price than a gaming PC. Plus he has friends.

Its decent, I use my ps vr on the original ps4. I havent run into a frame issue or anything and the quality seems fine. I dont know how much better it is on pro, but I its probably wise to get the pro if you are just getting a ps4 now for vr

PS4+PC best combo this gen BY FAR. The amount of quality exclusives coming to PS4 next year is amazing. So ditch the xbone and choose gaming bliss. You will literally , miss nothing without the xbone so it's a no brainer.

If you are interested in PS4 exclusives get a PS4, but get a Pro so the VR is better.

What is it about PC gaming that you think you will like?

What do you like about your current systems?

What games do you like to play?

Since you already have an Xbox One, I would buy a PC. A PS4 isn't worth it for the VR, and their exclusives, not when you have a PC with better VR, and better exclusives, and of course Xbox Live Play Anywhere
