Playstation is not perfect, nor is it the "only true game system." Yes, Nintendo has the best platformer's, and Xbox has the best online experience but I think Playstation is the best all-around system IMO.

thats all you are gonna say?
i would atleast put:
equal experience online (without cross game chat) as 360. FOR FREE.
Very good exclusives: LBP1/2, GT5, KZ2/3, U1/2, RESISTANCE1,2,3, INfamous1/2, DEMONS SOULS, Last guardian, Agent..Ratchet and CLank, MOD NATION RACERSyou get the picture.
Bluetooth and top of the line tech. Blu-ray.
Nicest looking console (old fat one)- thats subjective but still its not bad looking.
Gives a good HD experience
Upcoming motion controls (THE MOVE) like having a HD Wii
Hasnt had too many problems like the 360, but it doesnt matter now cz the 360 is fixed.
Simple yet really nice interface- subjective.
Oh and did i mention free online?
and obviously PC is the best but compared to the 3 consoles. PS3 is amazing.
I own both a 360 and Wii, and both do a lot more than just online experience and platformers.IronBass
lets face facts here, Nintendo mostly focus games such as Mario, (platformer) and both Zelda and Metroid have puzzles in them, even if they are not puzzle games per say. And of course Nintendo has puzzle games like Tetris. Most people who play Halo, Gears of War, Forza, ect play it so they can play online on Xbox Live.

Xbox focuses on the best online experience with Xbox Live, which started with Halo. Then Gears of War became the most played game on Xbox live at one point.
Playstation is the best all around system because it has avarietyof games, and multimedia features.

Tons of games have puzzles. RPGs, Hack and Slash, even shooters.Zelda and Metroidhaving puzzles means little. Yes, Mario is a platformer, but "the facts" are, the Wii has more than platformers.

And most people play MW2 on the PS3. Now add KZ2 (and 3), Resistance, etcI suppose the PS3 only does online games, right? No.
The fact is, there's much more on the 360 than online games. Saying otherwise is simply wrong.
Playstation is the best all around system because it has a varity of games, and multimedia features.alexjonathan41The vast majority of big games are multiplats. Saying the PS3 has a varied library and the 360 doesn't while both share the vast majority of their games makes little sense.
I prefer the Xbox 360's controller, but the selection of games/the Blu-ray/etc. is making the PS3 look mighty sexy. I'll probably end up picking one up soon enough.
I prefer the PC for various reasons, but it's less comparable because it doesn't go on the same 'generation' progression as consoles.

Nintendo's main focus has been platformers and puzzle games since the NES days.
And Xbox's main focus has always been Xbox Live. Which started with Halo, the most popular Xbox exclusive. Gears of War became even more popular on Xbox Live then Halo at one point.

First, let's clear one thing: Metroid and Zelda are not puzzle games. As already stated, tons of games have puzzles. Metroid and Zelda are action adventure games.
Secondly, we are not discussing what MS and Nintendo main focus is. We are discussing what both consoles actually do.
And both do a lot more than online and platformers. Whatever MS and Nintendo's main focus is does not change that.
