In reference to the dreamcast 2 post

I'm confident the dreamcast 2 or Next Gen sega system is coming, maybe not for a few years but its coming and for those who don't want sega to come back into the console making business just look at this link

too many consoles in the war will cause a video game crash all over agian. even if they could make a good one it wont be good for the video game industry, 3 is almost too muchriver_rat3117

I disagree, nothing wrong with having some options when it comes to gaming, and sega being one of the 1st up with Nintendo the should be welcomed back with open arms.

If they can promise me a non-faulty(360) overpriced(ps3) system that isn't just last generation's with fancy wavable remotes(wii) and a "Next-Gen' Earthworm Jim, and im there.

What would be the point of making a new sega system ? So companys can make a 4th version of the game to go multiplat :?

3 systems is good enough. Sega's glory days are over and they just need to focus on makeing "quality" games.

Maybe they're are regretfully making games for other systems (nintendo and whatever) but if its their own new system they'll being new life into their 1st party games, bring us a new Sonic the way he should be, as well as other well known games. I think they'll suprise a few of the doubters out there if or when they come back. Prince_Denspion

What do you have in mind for Sonic? I mean, Sonic is basically about speed and collecting rings. I don't know what else can be done with him. I think Sonic and the Secret Rings is a lot of fun and something very simpleand different. But after that, I don't feel the desire for any more Sonic.

Exactly my point, speed, and rings (should have more use) They should start from scratch and give us a new Sonic game concept, maybe 2.5ish and not on rails, different paths with different outcomes. I'll leave the rest up to Sega.
