1st portal2nd half lifes 3rd team fortress
The Best Order is To Play Episode 2 first, then half life, then Episode 1 so you have no idea whats going on and then it'll be nice and confusing. Then play portal and Tf2honestly, what the hell do you think is the best order?
I played Portal first, then I re-played Half Life 2/Episode 1, and I finished that off with Episode 2. I also play Team Fortress 2 occasionally.
Since I already played the Half Life 2 and Episode 1, I just played Episode 2, then Portal, and then Team Fortress 2.If you haven't played any of them, go with the Half Life 2 saga first, then Portal, and then TF2.

I started with Half Life 2, then got bored of it, which presumably makes me a very bad person. Portal was next, and fantastic, and now I am an avid TF2-er. According to my stats page, I've spent over a day as a soldier.

Portal, Half Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, and then TF2 but not much. I'm just now starting to play TF2 seriously.
Half Life 2 (a year ago when I got it), Episode One (again, a year ago), Portal, Episode 2, Team Fortress 2.and... I kind of stopped playing all of them.
