In which order did you buy your consoles and why? [this gen]

DS - Nintendo makes awesome handhelds, and I needed to help Nintendo dominate Sony in this market.

PSP - I wanted to support Sony so that they'd make more handhelds. I don't think I want to support their next handheld if it's just like the PSP.

PC - Been a PC gamer for nearly a decade, but I bought my own this gen. Why? Because PC's kick ass.

Yes I know I contradicted myself.

I bought the Wii first for Zelda etc. and a couple years later I bought a 360. My main reason was that I wanted to play Halo 2 and 3 (didn't own an Xbox last gen), which were both quite disappointing.

I think I bought my DS before my Wii.

1 - PS3 (got it on June 2007), having enjoyed PS1 & PS2 it was natural for me to get a PS3 and enjoy its games, features & Blu-ray movies..

2 - PSP (got it on Dec 2007), wanted a gaming Handheld and PSP had some great titles which i wanted to play..

3 - 360 (got it on June 2008), just couldnt resist playing Geow1 & Halo3.. luckily 360 had lots more to offer and am happy i got the console..

3. Playstation 3 (never going back to regular DVD's after watching bluray movies on my 46" hdtv, MGS,PS1/PS2 Backward compitable, and so much more)

4. Xbox 360 (Last one I needed this gen, bought it mainly becuase of exclusives, and had room under the tv)

PS3 Wii 360

PS3 because I'm really into the Playstation brand and some of it's exclusives

Wii because I "gave it to my girlfriend for her birthday" (yet I'm the only one that plays it :lol:)

I put off buying a 360 untill I was fairly sure RRoD wasn't as much of an issue anymore.
