Okay, here's the deal. I've had both 360 and PS3. As of today, both have broken twice. I thought I was angry when my 360 broke. My PS3, supposedly the superior console, broke down AGAIN. Now I'm going to have to fork out 161 bucks just to get it repaired again after my insanely short 90 day warranty.

The 360(s) I had were the inferior console, but let's not get into that. At least Microsoft gave me a new system and a fresh 3 year warranty. I feel totally screwed by Sony. I'm selling all my PS3 stuff and getting a 360 Elite. Then, if the system breaks, I won't have to shell out a huge fee each time.

For those of you in the SW, what ompany do you think screws over the gamers more?

I thought the PS3 had a 1 year warranty. Either way, I feel more screwed by Sony because of last gen. The PS2 was the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned(Hardware, not software). My 360 might be junk hardware too but, at least MS extended the warranty and even refunded people who had thiers break before they extended it. I buy my multiplats on the 360 because if it breaks I get it fixed for free and if my PS3 breaks, I have to pay for it.

For consoles? None at all. I guess I just get lucky like that (or maybe I just take better care of them, whatever).

For game devs? Square-Enix. I don't know any other company with a track record for pushing back release dates for that long (for multiple games).

microsoft. they stole all my christmas noobs. every year there are people that get shooters for christmas, so every holiday season, even if my presents stink, video games get way funner.

Company wise, I'd give it a little to Microsoft, even though I am a 360 supporter.

Developer-wise, Valve is really ticking me off lately.

I think while the 360 is a faulty product, MS fixing it for free makes me feel at ease. Whilst with the PS3, anything that happens, I am on the hook for, including a breakdown due to a mandatory firmware update (what?!). That is asinine and shows how much Sony really stands by their product.

BTW: The manufacturers warranty is 1 year parts 90 days labor.

Sony screwed my over with the PS2. Thats the console out of them all that ive had the most trouble with.

Microsoft...though its more about Vista then consoles. I update to Service Pack 2 and what happens? My notebook crashes. I had to format my hard drive and - ugh...

I don't think you are getting screwed over, electronics are very delicate and break often. It's just the way it is.Hopefully whoever you have to deal with isn't a tool and you can get some decent assistance. Unfortunately that isn't always the case.
