I have been lured by the temptress of CoD a lot in my life...I have clocked over 10days on it. I've been out of that game for quite a while so i don't know if thats a lot anymore but at the time it was quite a bit. Anyway, i have been playing a lot of BF:BC recently, and have relaised a few things.

1. Is how much more realistic it is compared to CoD

2. Destructable sceneary is absolutely brilliant.

3. Vehicles in a game add's variety.

Another thing i have noticed is that there isin't one gun which is the mother of all guns. in CoD the M16 is considered mega powerful, but there isin't any guns like that in BC.

Anyway what do you guys prefer?

Bad company Why ? Because it actually takes skill and teamwork to win instead of Newby/ubalaced perks and holding the trigger down (cod4, MW2)

I almost think these two are equal in my eyes. Bad Company has destructible environments and Vehicles, while COD is so darn addictive and has supreme graphics. I do however think the graphics in Bad Company 2 are about to one-up the latest COD installment. Check the gameplay clips out on Xbox Live or PSN, they look incredible, and I think It will probably become my favorite. So I guess its' Bad company for me.

Both were fun, but I enjoyed the larger maps in BF:BC and also the destructible environments. Need to enter a building and the door is on the other side? Blow a hole in the wall!

Call of Duty had better graphics, was more realistic, had better multiplayer, AND came out a year before Bad Company. BFBC just doesn't hold up to Cod4.

And to people saying destruction adds to realism; in real war you aren't going to be wasting valuable ammo to get through a house quicker. WTF?

I bought BC on June 29th 2008 after having a blast on the demo the previous night, played it heavily during the summer, later went to other games and I got back into the game this spring, love it more than ever now but I recently broke my copy so I'm waiting for BC2 to come out.

Do you honestly think CoD was realistic? most of it is just you running in shooting like a maniac then regenerating your health. Not that i am saying it isin't realistic, but with Bad Company it's not if you see him first he's dead first, its much more skilled than that. I have noticed its much harder to aim in BC than CoD. You could just spray in the direction of the enemy and hit them. If you spray in BC, you willl die.

In real life, whoever sees the other guy first wins(assuming they're the same skill level). Bad Company had some lame rag doll physics and stupid enemy A.I. I realize the regenerating health in Cod isn't realistic, but neither is injecting yourself with whatever in BC. And the aiming is basically the same, there's not as much auto aim in BC but Cod's realistic graphics, A.I., and story outweigh the aiming IMO.

Lol the bullets in cod4 travel at the speed of light, whereas the bullets in BC travel at the speed of a bullet.

CoD4 simply for the awesome SP experiences, while it's not the most original it's still a consistent story and solid one imo. MP's kind of meh for both of them, BC's vehicles aren't good while CoD4's is so bogged down in these extra features and perks that make people believe there's a strategy behind them. 9v9, try to get Vacant, 3x grenade perk and whatever else and you'll be in top 2 or 3 garunteed.

Unfortunately I'm not knowledgeable on the general speed of a bullet. For all we know, BC's bullet speed is much slower than real life.

A rifle bullet has a muzzle velocity of about 800m per second and drops off as it flies down range, so it's not really "much slower".

Dropping a magical grenade when you die is far from being "realistic" CoD and realistic should never be in the same sentence buddy

I could list more than a dozen games I would rather play than Call of Duty, the series hasn't had a decent game sense Call of Duty 2 and hasn't had an amazing game sense Call of Duty 1.

CoD 4 is my favorite Multiplayer Game of this generation so I think CoD 4 is better. Although from the videos BBC2 looks better then MW2 which I'm not liking at this point.

It is the most realistic FPS I have played this generation. I hate how they changed it with MW2.

True, but comparing a game like COD to Operation Flashpoint I can say while be completely truthful that OP is a very realistic game while COD isn't.
