And I've answered you. Because you are going overboard. That's why. It isn't as good looking as you are making out, and the game wasn't as good then as you are making out. I owned it. It was decent for its time but you are acting like it was one of the greatest games of all time and is essentially timeless and nothing could be further from the truth. Also, graphically, it isn't remotely special.

I have no intention of ignoring the threads. If you want to post fanboy threads that go unobstructed by contrary postings, don't come on system wars. Don't cry about people offering an opinion that isn't biased by your mario tinted spectacles when you're posting on a forum essentially dedicated to arguing about the systems. Looks beautiful... Will buy at a later date however.  Just'd rather sink 300 bucks into a pc right now.  Some point in the future for me.

Like I said before. The game is great. 10 out of 10 for me. But it is an old game that we have all played before. No need to hype it. We already know everything about it. And it isn't worth buying again to see bloom and better lighting.

As much as I find this game charming, it a quick money, nohing more, just like all Sony's HD collections, except those usually came in 2 or 3 games .... it will flop sales wise, they would be idiots to believe a remastered game will change a thing.
