inFamous 2 is due out later this year if everything remains on schedule, and Sony is making arrangements to ensure that when the game is ready to release, it'll be welcomed by a multimillion dollar marketing blitz.

Sony Computer Entertainment America will support inFAMOUS 2 with a blockbuster multimillion dollar marketing campaign. This will include aggressive national television, print, online and viral advertising campaigns, full promotional support, dedicated point-of-purchase displays and merchandising support, broad-based public relations support, and an immersive and interactive website.

Continuing the story of inFamous, Cole travels to New Marais in search of the scientist that may hold the key to defeating the dark entity known as "The Beast". After being blamed for the destruction of Empire City, this is Cole's chance to redeem his name and save humanity, but there is also the choice to not save humanity and let the people suffer. It's your decision to make and choose the outcome of the game's storyline.

Yeah ok Sony. I'll believe it when I see it. For a game as prestigious as UC3 if they are willing to do this for Infamous 2, then for UC3, I should be seeing trailers of UC3 before blockbuster movies in major theaters then.

Ohh this will be interesting. Hope the game sells well because of it. Its gonna be awesome. Cant wait.

I didn't care fro the first one but at least it's visually pleasing this time around.:D

inFAMOUS 2 is not a first person shooter. What's Sony doing? :cry:

Multi-million could just be 2 million and that is not much at all for America or worldwide advertising. It would help a little more if they could at least narrow it down some.

This is probably gonna be another situation like with Bioshock where the sequel improves on almost everything in the original, 'cept it features an inferior story. I really don't see how they can top inFamous 1's story. That **** was just mind-blowing.

Of all the great games coming out they chose inFAMOUS 2? The first one was ok, but overrated imo. They should give it to Resistance

to be honest, i wouldn't be suprised if somebody tried to make a movie out of it. first good superhero game in awhile and unlike Batman AA, was orignal. (cole is not a comic book character) the closest thing to his character is static shock.antifanboyftw

Its not the billboard that is note worthy, but the act of product placement and the thought they had to plan this ahead well over a year before the games release.

I hope it sells well. I haven't really kept up on InFamous 2, but I've been playing through the first one and it's awesome!
