inFAMOUS. "One of the most exciting and engaging super hero games ever made

"One of the most exciting and engaging super hero games ever made." I just wanted to share that quote with everyone, I pulled it directly from the GS video review for inFAMOUS. It truly is a great game, and to all the people who seem to be hating on this game I say you go out and play it, or rent it. (Unless you don't own a PS3). I see people are getting excited about Prototype coming out, and inFAMOUS is always getting compared to it too. Now don't get me wrong it should be a solid game but how can you pass up a game like inFAMOUS? If you don't like super hero games and open world games I get it, but if you are into those things than inFAMOUS should be a for sure buy. This is all my opinion people, so don't starting getting angry at my for saying I like inFAMOUS like most others do.

I doubt you even played the game. What happens to John at the end of the game? If you answer correctly I will believe that you played it, if you answer wrong you will be imprisoned for the rest of your life. :twisted:

Looks like I was wrong about you, my bad. Most other people I know that have played it loved it. Well since it seems you have played it how do you find it lame? It is a real fun game.

Its got a high solid AA ranking from Gamerankings so there's no doubt that it isn't good (though everyone's own preferences come into play -- as do mine, I have no interest in Infamous). But like all Sony exclusives, this praise will soon die out; it has happened with every single Sony exclusive thus far. Pity really. Let's see if we're still talking about this game in a month from now.

I see that happen to most games not just sony only games.

Well I just beat it and I must say its one awsome game. The 9 fits fine. I love the story and the twist. This game goes up high as one of my most enjoyed games of this gen.

i like it kinda too, its just the enemies really drive me insane, they arent relaly that fun to fight, they are too good at shooting, like you get hit INSTANTLY, as soon as you get out of cover by like 100 people

inFAMOUS was a hit for me because I like Third-Person Action games like:
GTA IV

MGS IV

Uncharted

Dark Sector

God Of War

Heavenly Sword

SOCOM

All those types of games.. so this was a hit for me with the cover-system, great graphics, immersive story and tight gameplay/controls. Without all those things.. Third Person games tend to fall flat on their faces.

I love the game but I hate the fact that picking good or evil doesn't change the story. ( Even if you choose to destroy it, john still dies)

i just got my copy of InFamous today looking forward to actually playing it.

Game is good- not as polished as I expected though. They should have waited and released it in a few more months, but Prototype put them on edge (not because it's better, just because it would be out for more weeks) and they rushed through it. That's why graphics and combat is a bit meh IMO.

I much prefer Spiderman, he had his own unique powers. Cole's electric is used the exact way a gun would be used in a TPS. Electric grenades, shooting it like a rifle, those precise sniper shots ...
