Infamous vs prototype?

i am yet to play infamous but after playing prototype yesterday i was pretty disappointed, it felt like a lot if recycled game mechanics were used in that game. If u played hulk ultimate destruction then you played prototype. Just wondering what everyone else feels about this game.

i have only played inFAMOUS so i cannot say but i really enjoyed inFAMOUS alot, the story was alot better then i thought it was going to be which was a suprise, the ending was really great.

I don't see any topics in the 350 forum, but if your referring to prototype's forums that's just silly. It is filled to the brim with trolls, I don't think you can take anyones opinion on either side credibly.

Also, why didn't any website review the game already ?? I mean infamous got its first review a week before release. The same thing for ghost busters. Why is the rating for prototype so secretive ?? something to hide maybe ??

i can honestly say i played it yesterday and its like hulk on the ps2 not a bad thing entirely since i loved that game for a week. But like hulk prototype got old quick not to mention the graphics arent to great. From what i seen with infamous those dont look ground breaking either but they look a tad bit cleaner.

InFAMOUS AAA 9.0 Caliber game at MULTIPLE sites like Game Informer, IGN, Etc....the best thing is our very own GAMESPOT actually gave InFAMOUS a AAA.

Prototype...well, it may be fun, the vids looked neat, but holding a controller and playing a game go a LOT more with me than some random vids.

It's like BIONIC COMMANDO, which I told everyone here would be just okay due to GRIN, but no, everyone likes to argue here. Well, InFAMOUS is AAA so that's what I would get.

However, in the unlikely event PROTOTYPE actually scores AAA as well, then you got a real humdinger on your hands. I think Prototype should be good, but I never thought it would be great. More of a rental, but we'll see...lol.

Lemmings will say prototype because it's the only decent game they got this summer, gamers will pick infamous because it's an "AAA" well deserve game.therealnerdd

today just got inFamous and spent the last 2.5 hrs playing the game.. its really a great game.. Prototype looks like its gonna be another solid sandbox title which i'll probably pick up later on this summer for my 360..

You can't tell how a game actually plays by vids, but I did agree before I played InFAMOUS, I thought InFAMOUS was a 7-8 game that looked kinda boring... until I actually got the game in my hands. The reason you are a SUCKERPUNCH fan is because of gameplay.

Sly Cooper vids would bore anyone as well, but it PLAYS great.

Well imma pick up proto tommrow. Im hoping for a good time. I have a gut feeling that I wont enjoy as much as I did infamous,but it will still be a good game.

It looks more enjoyable to me. It won't be as polished, but it probably will be more fun.

I did, and I'm ashamed for it. I knew that it would be good, but I didn't expect it to be so refined and play as well as it does, especially for a sandbox game. I have Prototype reserved, looking forward to that mayhem as well.

I like that Suckerpunch actually has a reason to go back and play the game again, not just for the story and ending, but because of the powers you get too.
