Infinite Undiscovery : AA, What do you guys think ?

THis game has potentional. its trying a few new things for the genr and the gameplay looks awesome, what do you guys think.

LO got an A, theres absolutly no reason for this to get higher, this looks worse than LO aswelltherealmcc0y

Ive heard and read great things about LO

I think an easy AAA, because it tries new things never seen in a JRPG before, looks amazing and very freshkostmpekir

The latest build seems tight and it's actually coming sooner then I expected but so far so good.

If the game plays as good as it looks from the videos then a AA should be easy but who the heck knows anymore with JRPG's when L.O., the best JRPG this gen gets scored A. :?

I'm looking forward to it and it seems all of a sudden, September is going to be a great VG month with I.U., V.P. 2, Star Wars Unleashed & Left for Dead. :D

I think a solid AA from what I've seen. My only complaint is the va, especially because they feel the need to yell out the attack.

Btw, what is the innovation? I've only seen the two vids.

they need to work on the frame rate and Voice acting though

Aside from great voice acting and somewhat interesting characters, I actually think LO got the score it deserved. I think far too many have way too high expectations from the man that created FF(and far too many pats on the back). Far too many have acted like Mystwalker was going to be the 2nd coming of Jesus for RPG's or something. Blue Dragon and LO were average at best and they lost points for more than being just old school. (ie: nothing like being ripped out of what could have been a very emotional experience by a mini game!)

Tri-Ace has it's own following of loyal customers, I'm one of them and I've been following this game since it's first trailer, but from what I've seen thus far, I'll go out on a limb and expect an A at best. The story seems shallow, the voice acting seems a bit questionable and I wouldn't mind seeing the lips move in sync with the voices.

It's going to fall between those numbers. I'm sensing a lot of people are going to complain about the voice acting. From what I've heard, it's cringe-inducing.

The way they talk about the ideas reminds me of the game. I wonder whats gonna be so innovative about it. The only thing I see that is innovative is the fact that your desicions make an impact on the gameplay.

Anyway I think it will be a AA solid game. I wish that would finish this ( they might have finshed since it has a Sept 2 release date) and just get to SO 4 to tell you the truth. 8)

It's more of a cross between Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile in an open ended seamless world.

Situational Battles
As players are faced with a variety of episodic situational battles, they will discover that they may have to try various methods to defeat the enemy, where the most obvious solution is rarely the right move. Players can assemble parties from a pool of 18 characters, choosing those with the best combination of abilities for the job. Snipe distant enemies with the help of a bow-wielding ally or skilled magic user. Based on each player's decisions, the intricate environments will offer a variety of experiences, presented in a way never before seen in RPGs.

I'm not bashing the game. I can only go by with that one trailer atm. Looking at it just didn't sit right me. It's my opinion on what the score it will get. I hope I'm wrong and ends up scoring higher than I predicted.

I'm pretty sure I'm not informed as you. Just been reading articles and info mostly posted here.

edit: I have played some of the tri-ace games. My favorite game from them has to be Star Ocean: Second Story. Honestly I'm not trying to bash the game.

I'm hyping this and Tales of Vesperia both at A+ just to be safe. But from what I've seen, AA for both.

Lost Odyssey should've been a AA title as well.
