I'll wait for a formal announcement, but if true I respect the hell out of MS for taking a stand and trying to lock down content for their own users. That kind of move forces the competitors hand and I'm all for that. I admit I didn't expect MS to have the balls to go exclusive (over their network of platforms) but I guess it makes more sense when you take the time to list out what the game would be headed to and it's basically everything but SONY and Nintendo.
I still have my doubts, but will commend the hell out of MS if it winds up being true. As much as people hated the move to me it shows that they are in it for the long haul and mean business. Now if Starfield and the next ES game truly are MS exclusives (not timed exclusives) I will give them a slow clap for bitch slapping the rest of the industry.. lol
Certainly wouldn’t surprise if it was but really I just want to see what this game will actually be. I’m quite hyped for it regardless of its exclusivity status.
New IP. We haven't seen gameplay or even a pic. Why do Xbox fans hype everything before getting there's even a reason to? It's like any news is good news for you guys.

there have been pics released
Why do Sony fans hype "25 games coming" when they don't know what the majority of them are?
@Sagemode87: Again with the foot in the mouth? Not one person is hyping….it’s a discussion about exclusivity.
Can see this being exclusive for 6-12 months.
MS even hinted that games would launch on Gamepass day one and other platforms later.
If it's delayed just means they will get an almost working game rather than a completely broken one.
Willing to bet as well this game will have some insidious business practice that will make horse armor seem chartable.
A paid 3rd party console exclusive. If this is true, kind of a dumb move in my opinion. Just have it release day one on gamepass and charge $70 for PS. Should sway some to get gamepass and ones who don't, they'll still get $70. I've seen nothing besides some random odd screenshots that don't show anything. Not sure why this game's getting so much hype.

Do all ps5 games have to launch at 70? Is that like a rule in place or something?

So you're saying Sony should also put up 3rd party exclusives on places like GP for more money?

I could ask you the same question. Why are PlayStation fans hyping up 25 exclusives before even getting a name or pictures? It's like any news is good news for you guys.
I don't see why it would ever go to PlayStation unless Sony made a deal with Bethesda like they did for Deathloop or Ghostwire Tokyo. Not unless MS continue to surprise us with their predictably unpredictable behavior...
The Xbox/PC versions will be given priority, and maybe down the road it'll come to PS. But who knows.
So now MS has The Outer Worlds and Starfield wich will be pratically the same (fallout in space) while PS has none. Well... that sucks
@shadyacshuns: Not really what I was saying. If Sony did that, they'd probably lose money. MS is trying to convince people to get gamepass. Seems the best way to do that is by putting day 1 $70 games on it. The contrast in price from $60-$70 to $10/month should be what they're aiming for. It's not as much of a gamble if it's also released on PS, but still shows how good of a deal gamepass can be if you want to play that game.
@ProtossRushX: No, it's not a rule. It'll probably just be their first party games at that price but I could be wrong.

Sounds like a ridiculous double standard to me: expecting Microsoft to put their games on Playstation when they won't even share a effing hero like Spiderman with Microsoft on third party multiplat games.
Microsoft shouldn't give anything to Sony, they, and their fans are not entitled to anything that MS owns.

How would Sony lose money doing what you are suggesting for MS but be beneficial for MS as in make more money?
@Pedro: MS owns gamepass, Sony doesn't. Wouldn't make sense for Sony to put games on there. Unless you guys are talking about PS Now? Then yeah, that'd definitely help sell that service.
@shadyacshuns: I wasn't saying it to appease fans. I meant in a business sense. Playstation has a large population of potential sales. I'd be fine with a game like spiderman going to xbox, since it really wasn't a true Sony exclusive. They did what MS did and just bought the developers.
Phil Spencer already stated during the Bethesda acquisition interview that they've specifically purchased all these developers solely for Game Pass content. ALL games will be Game Pass EXCLUSIVE. Whether you choose to use Game Pass on a Xbox, PC or mobile device is up to you.
TLDR: Bethesda games ARE NOT coming to the PS5.

You were suggesting that MS put their games on PS and that was the context I was referencing. In that context, why can't Sony do the same? Put their games on Xbox?
