Kick #1. Devil May Cry 4 goes to 360. One of the PS2's most cherished (and amazing) series goes to multiplatform.
Kick #2. Ace Combat 6, yet another Sony exclusive series goes to the 360, but this time no PS3 version announced.
Kick #3. No Oblivion for Euro Launch. Biggest Launch game lost.
Kick #4. No Splinter Cell: Double Agent for Euro Launch.
Kick #5. No Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 for Euro Launch.
Kick #6. No Rainbow Six: Vegas for Euro Launch.
Kick #7. No F.E.A.R. for Euro Launch.
Could things have been worse for Sony and their machine? Well, yeah, but lets not talk about it.
I’m truly sad for the hell that Sony is going through. They were so clearly on top last gen, and now, they seem to lose a part of themselves daily.
I can just see the Sony Officials in their offices, crying and hugging one another saying: "It's ok, we still have Metal Gear Solid 4........for now....."
So, do you think that, in light of all this crap that Sony went through yesterday, things will go up, or down from here?
Will these lost games (DMC, Ace Combat) spur other devs to jump ship, or will Sony just try harder and be better off for their sorrows?

that is more games then people are saying also. lets not forget ridge racer. never on an xbox platform until the 360. see it started from day 1. this is just the domino effect.
I'm still buying my DMC4 for PS3 instead of my 360. Why? Because I like the controller. Then after I buy the console version I'll probably pirate the PC version. Or better yet, pirate the console version and buy the PC version.

Fair enough but piracy is one of the major reasons for the decline of PC games over the years. If it becomes a big thing on consoles as well then the industry will be in real trouble. Having been a part of that industry, a now dead publisher, it irks me when people are flippant about stealing.

never played an ace combat game because i'm not all up on plane games, i only fly planes in BF2, F.E.A.R aint anything to shout about either, the excuse most lemmings use is if you wanted to play oblivion by now you would have, guess what i have it was ok... the others i shall give you.

MGS4 and FF13 confirmed at E3 07 to be on the 360 and PC.
I can't find my PS3's throat, and I don't want to kick it :( The only time I use my PS3 for gaming is when I bring it to my sister's house & play Tekken DR/VF5 with my nephews. I love XBox Live & have to admit that I'm starting to get hooked on achievements, so I will pretty much buy the 360 version of any multiplat unless the PS3 version scores way higher(hasn't happened) or the PS3 version is released way ahead of the 360 version.
It hasn't meant the decline for pc games which require online. The problem comes in when a come is focused on a single player experience (except for total war games, they will sell well regardless). Games like Wow and its expansion have sold like crazy, fps's like hl2 epi 2, crysis and the new ut will sell like crazy also. Don't worry about pc gaming, its here to stay :)
On topic, its great news for 360, and its looking like 360 is becoming a very nice console choice this gen
The only time you should ever pirate a game is to try it out. That is the only time, I'm not condoning that it is right, but you can try it out, if you like it delete it and go buy the game, if you don't like it delete it anyways.
But yes this throat day is gonna rock today BOOYA! Sorry, Sony fails yet again, and after all that bashing I got from other PS3 fanboys, I can say TCHBO!

If you are reffering to the posts about piracy then this is my reply...if not then sorry heh. It is not the big titles that suffer the most but the smaller, independant developers. They cannot afford to spend as much on copy protection and online verification etc. This strangles the industry from the ground up as it is the smaller developers that that grow the talent that the bigger guys use later on. Without these guys you get stuck with very little fresh blood in the industry.

I would say that it will have fans running to the 360. It WAS one of my main reasons to get a PS3, as well as many other peoples.
