Iphone or PS3?

iPhones are cool, but I would advise you to wait for the next-gen iPhones. The current iPhone is cool, but it's still missing some key features that will be implemented in the next iteration. Go for the PS3.Jared2720

Nokia N96. Besides the obvious great camera lot of memory powerfull processot great phone it has a 3d graphics card and u can hook it up to your tv and play games at a PSP quality(graphics wise)

its a good phone but nothing special, the only good thing about it is its sexy like all apple products but thats about it it barely has features that are not on other better phones like Nokia N95

The iPhone is good but there are MANY phones as good as, if not better than it. My advice if you are getting a phone, is get a phone with a keyboard ON it not IN it. THe internet would work fine on it and you're not going to kill the screen by touching it. Anything with a touch screen that doesn't have a scratch-proof cover on the screen will get EXTREMELY dirty EXTREMELY quickly. You will notice before long that the screen gets oily. THe iPhone is a total rip-off right now and there are some problems with it. ANY phone costing that much is not worth it.

Now for the PS3. Free internet, no need for the cellphone for it. From what I remember, it has a web browser on it. You can't play nearly photo-realistic games on a cellphone, can you?:D Pick up the PS3. It will end up being FAR more worth it in the long run. You will get bored or break that iPhone pretty quick. Not specifically YOU, but it won't last as long as say a PS3.

There ya go. PS3 = better. iPhone = worse.

there like 500 bucks, you could get a phone with like a half year worth of bills paid off for that price, i have an ipod touch, great device, kinda small on capacity though

if you really need a new phone, get eigther the N95(my GFs phone) or the LG KU990(thats the phone i have), they both have really good cameras(LGs is better), they both have good music players(N95s is better) and they are both cheaper than the iphone.

I have two xbox's one is off being repaired at the time(was a launch xbox 360) and I decided that I am either going to buy an Iphone or a PS3 which should it bejustcause1

Get the PS3. I've worked in the phone selling business, and there are other phones that are better, probably cheaper and more reliable than it. If you want something to listen to music on, get an Mp3 player.

Yup. Apple items are nice looking and funky, but if you are the slightest bit geekish, they will bug you in time. The closed system they always have on their products really bugs you after a while and you start noticing the flaws. I made the mistake of getting an Ipod. Loved it at first, now I just wish I had gone with the cheaper, yet better alternative.

Sony Ericsson have really perfected the standard phone interface and they have tonnes of features. Of course, if you really want all the office stuff on your phone, get a Blackberry imo.

Yeah blackberry's are really good devices, I still prefer an iphone obviously not from a business point, I also had an sony ericsson w960 and it was a good device, but i will never buy another smartphone with windows mobile on it.

Yeh. When I was working for a phone retail company, the phones with the highest return and fault ratios were the windows mobile ones.

I disagree. I like my Curve better. While the internet browser it's far superior, iPhone has no A2DP.

What is this you say, well it's the bluetooth profile that allows stereo audio with a stereo bluetooth headset.

If the iPhone is being marketed as the ultimate portable internet, phone and MP3 player, you would have thought that would be something they added immediately.

No A2DP = No iPhone.

When Apple adds A2DP and a larger list of compatible bluetooth headsets, I will get it again.

Until then, PS3 > iPhone.

iPhone will be obsolete next year (maybe even by christmas), the PS3 will be Sony's flagship console for 5+ more years. You decide. BTW, there are plenty of PS3 exclusives that are definitely worth playing.

iPhone is a money pit as well, you have to pay the cell bill every month and are locked into a plan when buying the iPhone... Buy the PS3 then just buy games.
