There’s been so many great years in gaming that I can never pick one to be the greatest but next year is certainly looking to add to that list for me. A lot that I’m very hyped for like:

- Starfield

- Breath of the Wild 2

- Bayonetta 3

- Elden Ring

- Monster Hunter Rise Sunset

- Horizon: Forbidden West

- God of War: Ragnarok

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

Just to name a scant few. Probably a number that I’m either forgetting or that just haven’t been announced yet.

I don't know about best year, but it's looking to be a good year for a lot of people.

We can add WH40K: Darktide to that list.

Most everything will be delayed. If a game is announced for ~Q3 2022, it will be delayed to Q1-Q2 2023. But if there are no delays, Elden Ring, Stalker2, Starfield and GoW2 will the bangers. MH Rise on pc as well, but this game is being held back by PSP specs, so i am not expecting as much as i normally would have.

It's looking promising, but lets see.

2022 will probably be one of the best years in gaming history.

I have a feeling Elden Ring will be Hidetaka Miyazaki's magnum opus and GOTY 2022, but if God of War: Ragnarok is as good (or better!) than its prequel and BOTW2 is as good (or better) than the first BOTW then 2022 could certainly surpass 2020 and the best year in gaming since 2013.

It looks like 2017, one of the best years, is coming again.

Forza Motorsport is my hot pick for next year assuming it's not delayed and although I've not seen much of it I have high hopes for Starfield.

But been kind of a yawn year thus far for me, not much on the horizon give a shit about. Maybe just bored with gaming, or maybe gaming itself has become boring. Could be both.

2022 should be vastly superior to 2021. Which actually isn't saying much. 2021 has been negligible.

Every year is the best year for gaming. Sure, your favorite game might not come out each year, but gaming definitely seems to get better year after year after year.

Right now I've got so many games to play, I don't know what to do. Aliens, Deathloop, Shipbreaker, Humankind, Satisfactory, Valheim...I mean what do I play?!

Just stick to selected games that are masterpiece and ignore 99% of crap we get every month and its all good.

2022 will get 2 new IPs, Starfield and Atomic heart along with long waited sequel like STALKER 2, Company of heroes 3, Dying light 2, and maybe we will see IO interactive Bond Game etc but but but only remaster and mainstream games releasing lol.

Nothing in 2022 comes close to some of the years throughout PS1/N64 PS2/Xbox & PS3/360 eras.

Holiday 2021 looks better than all of 2022 the entire year? Just my opinion.

even STALKER 2 will be better than any of 360/PS3 era game although it wont surpassed STALKER 1 that is impossible or very hard thing for any game to do.
