No thoughts at all? Come on, there must be at least one person who's played it.

Well I know that I can't play it because NES is my limit when it comes to Graphics if it is lower then NES quality I can't play it just because I can't tell what anything is but on NES games I can easily tell what everything is, I had a 2600 before I got an NES I got the 2600 in 1985 and I got the NES in 1988 it was a good time to buy the 2600 then because all the games where only $5 or less at the time.

I was kind of thinking this too, but I think the charm is it encourages imagination more. Thanks anyway.

As a collector's item, sure.  If you can get it for a decent price, there are plenty of wonderful games on it that can take you back to the good ol' days.

However, some may suggest downloading an emulator to make the experience free.  I would just to get a feel for some of the games first.

I would buy one in a flash if offered to me, though, simply to have as a collector's item.

Not really-- you'd be better off buying those $20 plug and play things for your TV.

The 2600 has some great games on it. Honestly, most of them were Activision games though...you'd be best of trying to find Activision Anthology (PS2, PSP, PC). It's a great compilation, and even has the original TV spots as unlockables.

Some great atari games were Yar's Revenge, Combat & Berserk.
