Infamous (along with Heavy Rain) so far looks like it will be THE game that will make me choose PS3 over it's competition when buying my first console this gen. I absolutely loved Sly Cooper, far more than Ratched and Jak to be honest.
Now if only Mark of Kri devs would make something new..
It's going to be hard to get excited for any game, for me, after playing ToonTown again after two and a half years. I don't think anything can even come close to topping the intense amount of enjoyment I get from that game, and frankly, I don't think I'll need another game for a long, long time.
they are not really comparable prototype looks like an unbalance mess while infamous looks like a very fun sandbox game with a strong platform element and it seems to have alot of substance in the gameplay. but it's a safe bet that prototype will sell more.

The sandbox genre is still a virgin, tbqh. Both of these games are so radically different than GTA. If they're all the same, then I guess we should say GTA is a SM64 clone.:roll:

Super Mario 64 is a platformer. there isn't enough blood in crackdown to meet prototype blood:twisted:
Infamous. I was going with prototype at first, but it shouts fail to me now for some reason. Its really disapointing looking to me. Infamous on the other hand is opposite for me, i thought it was stupid at first but the more i read and saw from it the more i wanted it.

Yeah its just giving me this mercenaries feel, is fun for awhile but its arcady feel and messed up gameplay mechanics saturate you to the point ofexhaustion. It will be a good rental i think, but i dont think its going to do to well.

The guys on the latest Listen UP 1UP Podcast said the vehicles all control extremely well.

Infamous is more interesting to me, but I don't have a PS3. I might get Prototype if it's AA (probably just rent it since there'll be no multiplayer to speak of).
