I am not one bit disgusted by a game. If I had a PS2, I would like nothing more than to come home and just bash alot of buttons and kill lots and lots of people.
GTA disgusts me. I hate playing any game where I have to do things that I wouldn't do in real life.
God of War is the same way. The so called "Hero" is a totally evil jerk.
Some people would call him a typical Anti-Hero, but I'm not convinced that anything he does is good.
And yet this is one of the most talked about games on Sony's systems; Why do people like this crap? What happened to real heroes? You know, the ones you could look up to?

Kratos is supposed to be an anti hero. he is not. Good.
The game itself is supposed to be brutal, and his character fits perfectly.
If you want a different character play a different game.
Well it would suck if every game had a character with similar attributes, Kratos is not your conventional hero type but he certainly is not evil. Story-wise it's understandable why Kratos is so bad-ass, when you think about it Im sure most people would do the same thing in his situation, you just got tricked into killing your own family, now that is messed up!
GOW doesn't disgust me and I have to say it ranks pretty high in my most enjoyable gaming experiences.
