Is anyone else itching for another Unreal game?

It's been 5 years since UT3 came out, and although it wasn't quite as good as it's predecessors, I still really want another one. There's not many other games like it these days, so it doesn't feel like "just another CoD" or whatever.

Anyway, since Epic are apparently working on a PC exclusive, I guess that means there's a slither of hope.

How does SW feel about a new UT? Yay or Nay?

Yes. Next gen with the new Unreal engine preferably.

yes... ut2k4 was awesome. Ut3 never played on pc..but it was alright on consoles.campzor

I bought UT3. It was terrbile. If they wanna make it up to me they can make a new, much better one and give it to me for free to compensate me for my buying that pile of crap, but I wouldn't give Epic a dime for any other game by them. At every turn, their games are horrible.

Never liked the Unreal games for other than graphics. But that's just me.

It would be nice I guess, but to all of you who want an arena shooter, there's still plenty to be played. Quake Live, Nexuiz, warsow, etc.

Never mind Unreal Tournament. I'd like to see a reboot of the original Unreal single player game in a new engine, complete with Nali cows.

original unreal had deathmatch and single player.

then ut1999 was released they focused only on expanding unreal 98s multiplayer.

I only play deathmatch so didnt make a sh1t to me.

I'd like a new Unreal Championship game just for consoles and a new Unreal Tournament game just for PC. Using a different engine though or at least a more vibrant colour palette. But yeah 5 years is too long to be left with such a disappointment.

As long as it's as good as UT 2004 I'm in, enjoyed the f*** out of that game.

Epic's biggest mistake was not developing UT3 as a PC title.

If they can avoid that mistake I would like a new Unreal.

UT3 was actually my first, and I LOVED it. I just love CTF and VCTF, it's so much funner than other shooters. Still probably my most played and favorite MP FPS game this gen, with KZ a close second. Those two games actually complement each other very well. MORE UT PLEASE!Deathtransit
