Is anyone getting BlazBlue Continuum Shift?

Just wondering, as a huge fighter fan - I missed the first installment, you guys reckon this ones worth a purchase? and is anyone buying it?

I just bought the first 30 minutes ago (only came out here 3 months ago).

I think il give the 2nd a miss like i did with SSFIV and wait for the one after.

Never got into fighters so I'll be passing it up. My cousin is getting it day one but he buys everything so not sure if its worth it or not.

Do you know how to zone? Did you learn frame advantages and disadvantages? Did you learn how to use meaty attacks? Did you learn any block strings? Any cross-ups?

Just saying, you need to give a game a chance before passing it off.

Those things are for almost all fighting games, like basics.. I suggest watching this, and the other videos in the series, it applies to street fighter and as I said almost every other 2D fighter.

Uh....LOL....what is it like? Is it in the same difficulty curve as SF4? Or is it like TK6, easy to get into, hard to master - and you won't need a arcade stick.icygangsta

I think it's a hell of a lot deeper compared to other fighters. There's just so many variables in play that you have to think about while fighting, and so much to master.

From what I have heard and seen, as I have not played the original (I was waiting for something like CS), is that the game has a above average learning curve. It's certainly less than something like Virtua Fighter or Guilty Gear but it's more than the average fighter.

Right now the battle system has not evolved to the state of Guilty Gears (that's a common complaint of the game) so it will be easier to get into I assume.

lol have no idea what all these are :P. i just really did not have fun with the first game at all. i bought it for $60 canadian and it was used. really regret it till now. $60 was a lot. not bothering with the second one

I don't know. If I do it will probably be after it's been out for a while. I lack online playability, which adds much much more to Blazblue or any fighting game. I don't know if I'll get a PS3 at some point or not (which I'm assuming would be a better console for BB when it comes to controls).I'm lacking money and there are other games I'd rather get, as well.

I'm in a complicated situation here. :/

Games are usually divided into multiple Tiers, the higher ones being where the best characters are, and the bottom ones being where the characters who stand less or little chance are.

I had a lot of fun with AH2, but it was never one of my favorites, i always prefered KOF, SF and Melty Blood.

They nerfed his damage slightly, but he's still beastly, his Belial Edge is insane. Tsubaki is B. Rachel and Tager are C.siLVURcross

Hmm things have changed a bit since I list checked the tier list.. I remember Rachel and Noel being the absolute worst.
