Anyone know?Baurus_1
Probably not. BioWare's idea was to make Mass Effect for the 360, then Dragon Age for the PC. I can see Mass Effect going to the PC, but if BioWare designs Dragon Age to be similar to Baldur's Gate or NWN, then chances are it's not coming to the 360.
PS3 and PC as far as I know...but now that EA owns them probably-D3MO-
PS3? Where the hell did you get that from? It's PC-exclusive.

Dragon Age is coming to PS3? I never heard that. Are you sure about that?
Bioware Forums...its the BioWare Exclusive for PS3/PC...apparantly not since EA now owns Bioware...but it was supposed to be so.

Link, please, because this is the first time anyone's said anything about Dragon Age going to ANY console.

Somehow I don't believe it's coming to PS3. If anything, it would come out for 360 before PS3.

I'll try to find a link, but there have been major disscussions on Dragon Age going to PS3. It was supposedly a PS3/PC Exclusive....let me get a link...

Why on earth would Dragon Age come to PS3 instead of 360? That makes no sense at all. The 360 is the more capable machine.
If it does well they will prolly port it at least. I wouldn't mind sharing DA with lemmings if we get ME in change. :)EntwineXnor would i mind sharing ME

He's right in one respect: there's no reason BioWare would consider making a PS3/PC game and exclude the 360. They essentially have to develop two entirely different games because of the differences. It makes much more sense to make a 360/PC game than a PS3/PC game, since there are already so many similarities between the 360 and PC.

I don't know, but in my day, we used to play games for the fun of it, not to accrue some useless virtual points. If you had fun playing portal a second time, you could have done that without achievements.

They DON'T Make a Game Better per se, they extend the replay value, making you do pointless things (in most cases) for a bit of nerd-cred.

I found this, apparantly it was in an old EGM, i'll try to find the official thread...I know I saw one on NeoGaf a while ago...

It was in their rumor section several months ago. That guy really isn't very credible, so I would wait until Bioware announces it (if they do).

EDIT:Well theres the bonuses, but they will take no time to get through.

So it wasn't fun, and you didn't enjoy it much. You put yourself through displeasure just to earn virtual points? Sorry for sounding so harsh, but that doesn't make much sense to me.

e_e For me,I always saw lots of replay value as making a game better. Example...Ninja Gaiden. It have tons of replayability and that was noted in almost every review because it made the game so much funner. More replay value=more reasons for you to play=you get more of your moneys worth. o.O How could you not se replayability as making a game better?[QUOTE="killab2oo5"]o.o Playing portal a second time wasnt nearly as fun as the first time becauseits so linear and every puzzles the same...so yeah, achivements helped.I played it 3 times tying to get break all the cams but always missed one each time.If it wasnt for achievements,I wouldve never had any reason to go back and play portal.[QUOTE="agentfred"]I don't know, but in my day, we used to play games for the fun of it, not to accrue some useless virtual points. o_o Second time, not nearly as fun as the first time because I know what to do and I know what will happen. :) Yes,I did them for the points. You can say gamerscore is pointless, but then you might as well say gaming is pointless also, because it offers nothing more than entertainment.[QUOTE="-D3MO-"]>.- What made you make that sig?...The games also PC-exclusive so far.[QUOTE="killab2oo5"][QUOTE="-D3MO-"]PS3 and PC as far as I know...but now that EA owns them probablykillab2oo5

There were achievements for Portal and TF2 on PC and I had absolutely zero interest in them, I think achievements are extremely overrated. One of the reasons I dislike GS nowadays is taht for e.g. the Orange Box review spent the last two paragraphs talking about the goddamn achievements... ****ing retards...[QUOTE="agentfred"][QUOTE="killab2oo5"]o.o Playing portal a second time wasnt nearly as fun as the first time becauseits so linear and every puzzles the same...so yeah, achivements helped.I played it 3 times tying to get break all the cams but always missed one each time.If it wasnt for achievements,I wouldve never had any reason to go back and play portal.[QUOTE="agentfred"]I don't know, but in my day, we used to play games for the fun of it, not to accrue some useless virtual points. As for DA coming to 360, I wouldn'tmind seeing lemmings playing the game if hermits can play Mass Effect :)

There does seem to be some confusion here. I haven't seen the latest EGM, but we have announced Dragon Age is a PC exclusive title. I 'm not sure where they are getting the idea there is a PS3 version.
I know recently, at the DICE conference, Ray was interviewed and mentioned that we're are working with the PS3. This part is true cuz as a company we are always looking at future possibilities or for new game ideas. I imagine many companies have PS3s, 360s and such on hand to investigate the possibility of developing games for them. BUt this wasn't Ray saying "DA is a PS# exclusive" or anything. It was just him saying we are investigating things (which we are).
Maybe it's that comment that lead someone to make that assumption. And you know what happens when you make assumptions. You get umption all over yourself.
