I was browsing through my games today and noticed I have by far more EA games then any other publisher. Just in my collection on the 360 I have:

NCAA Football 2012

NFS The Run

NFS Hot Pursuit

Army of Two The 40th Day

Mercenaries 2

The Sabateur

Shadows of the Damned

Alice Madness Returns

Dante's Inferno

Dead Space 2

Bulletstorm

Crysis 2

Mirror's Edge

Medal of Honor

Battlefield 3

That is insane. The next company in line would be Microsoft with 8 games in my collection. So either I have horrible taste in games, or EA has done something right this gen.

I have also owned Mass Effect 2, Brutal Legend, and several EA Sports titles but have either traded them off or sold them.

Unfortunately this is probably true. Sad thing is that EA is also the greediest. Activision only had CoD which I can easily ignore and boycott buying their games. EA just has too many good developers under them that it is hard to ignore their games

Yeah I really do. I am not the greatest online gamer so if I play too many shooters at one time I never get good at them. Probably does not help that I hate camping and get bored sniping. A lot of the games I have got recently have been to replace the games I no longer have for the PS3 I traded. Dante's Inferno for example. I never would of gave it a second thought til I started to miss God of War.

Yeah I quit FPS's for about 2 years after MW2 and got BF3 this year cause it look pretty good.

God of war 3 is the last one for me, i hear they are making more about his brother or something but I'd like to think it's over.

Never stick to one game type or you'll end up like me and quit FPS's for 2 years lol .

Well I have far more games published by Nintendo, Capcom, Sega and only 2 EA titles. Doesn't mean much other than those 3 are more likely to make games that appeal to me.

One game on the list and only that one singular game make me agree with you. Army of Two: The 40th Day. No I'm not joking. That game was one of last year's finest. Played it over and over with my friend. We're the only people who still use the server!

So yep, I agree!

Take-Two is by far the best third party publisher. EA is full of s***, just because they make more games doesn't make them the best 3rd-party publisher. They're worse than Activision.

no worse than draconian DRMs and serial codes on PC really.Anyone who grew up with games like Simcity 3000 would know tactics like this arent suddenly a new thing from EA.

EA are brilliant. They have Bioware RPGs, Burnout, Battlefield, Rock Band, Dead Space, Brutal Legend, Crysis, plus every single sports game ever. They are one of my favourite 3rd parties.

I have a grand total of one EA game in my library this gen, NHL '09. I don't do shooters and I refuse to play Madden or NCAA Football for reasons of principle.

I will, however, be getting SSX.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of their recent ways either. As a publisher who gets out nice games, I think they are in def. in the top 5. Bioware's games, Dead Space, and Battlefield are what I really enjoy from them.

I enjoy all of those as well. SW:TOR and ME3 are going to have me shelling out money to them, which sux, 'cause I don't like their principles. Hehe. =P

Yeah. I admit EA is the king of shady practice's. Everyone is guilty of it but EA passes out fliars that they are doing it. Which makes semse I guess because they are also the kings of advertising thier products.

We all remember those Mercenaries 2 commercials.......

I think the whole Origin/Origin-spyware thing was rather shady as well. Even if the program isn't actually so bad, the damage to their rep was already done.

I admit they have a lot of good games. Not sure if I'd call them the best though.

But weren't they the ones who came up with the online pass bs? No matter how many good games they make I will always hate them for the online pass.
And they're greedy. ö

Ooooh, if we can pin that on their heads, even more reason to hate! =D

... though for some reason I feel like it was Ubisoft.

It wasn't Ubisoft. Ubisoft was responsible for the "must be online to play" DRM, which is almost as bad.

I was just thinking of how many series EA has run into the ground for me. Medal of Honor, Battlefield, NCAA & Madden, the Harry Potter series, and even Crysis 2 was a bit of a disappointment for me.

Ah my bad. I actually never had an issue with Ubi's DRM, but fortunately they seem to have backed off on it a bit.

No.

EA publishes GOOD games. That doesn't make it the best publisher. I hate EA.

That's a weird way of spelling Take Two and its games. ;)
