Right now both versions look like they are being ported from PC. The biggest difference will probably be multiple discs and if not multiple discs 360 will probably have compressed audio making the quality slightly worse for those who notice.

The 360 version is not even in production yet and wont be made untill the PS3 version (Japanese FF13) is complete which wont be till late next year I assume
Its a port. PS3 will probably have uncompressed 7.1 audio and maybe 1080p fmv compared to compressed and 720p fmv on the 360, but otherwise it'll be identical. PS3 to 360 ports generally work out well, nothing to worry about for 360 owners.

the multiple discs may comprimise the quality just like the whole issue with RAGE going on at the moment.

ye lol. would you have to switch discs if u decide to back track because from the looks of it the game will be sandbox no? so imagine you go out of the town come back and have to switch discs all the time! how annoying!

Actual game data is usually present on all discs. movies and sounds files for voices that only play once during the game will be devided between discs... these files are also what usually takes the most room too.
I'm Just wondering will it be the exact same verison like the PS3 or will it be a port?

its not an exact port. the ps3 will use one blue ray disc, while the xbox will use like 5-7 dvd disc.
And cost like $90. :lol: But seriously, it won't be more than 4. MS's licensing fees apparently suck over 2 DVD's, but (unless they're idiots) they'll probably give Square a waiver.

The 360 version is a port and it is not a timed exclusive for PS3 (in Europe and the US) because it is stated that they are going to hold the PS3 version back to wait for the 360 version to be finished. In Japan it is an exclusive to PS3 since the 360 version will never show up there.

Why would you think they're being ported from the PC? There's not even a PC version confirmed, andthe PS3 was the first Crystal Tools platform...
