Have the people who are insulting Assassins Creed actually played it? It's utterly brilliant. PDZ on the other hand, isn't even a remotely good game. It was generic that got a pass because it was a sequel and it was out in time for the console launch.
I think people fail to realize what everything was like back in late 2005 when the XBOX 360 has just launched. PDZ was amazing compared to last gen titles, and was one of the best launch 360 titles around. Of course compared to current titles these days, the game falls flat on its face, but back in late 2005? A 9.0 doesn't surprise me.
Ehh, I dunno about that. It certainly wasn't a AAA game. Not even AA. But it's multiplayer component alone warrants an A score if you ask me. 7.5 seems about right.

hey, rainbow 6 vegas was aaa. PDZ was more fun than that. Assasins Creed is a AAA game, despite what a a boy named Hilary says.

Exactly. People seem to forget the fact that it was nearly 2 years ago now. It was an incredible game for it's time. But, sadly, it does fall flat on it's face and even smashed into the ground in terms of todays videogames. 9.0 is definitely worthy at the time of it's release IMO though.
not even close. Perfect Dark Zero deserved a 7,0 tops. Assassin's Creed i would say 8.0-8.5. the worst review GS has ever done imo is R&CF:ToD. so bad that reveiw was

I wouldn't have a problem if Zack and Wiki or Trauma Center:new Blood got AAA. Actually scratch that I would have a problem with it but not as big of a beef as AC or TH.
IMO nether game deserve a AAA status but AC is closer to AAA then PDZ. I cant believe PDZ turned out so bad PD was an awesome game that I played for many hours how disappointing
I don't understand AC's appeal. I purchased on the first day, finished the first three assassinations, and decided I didn't want to play anymore. The story was getting pretty interesting but the gameplay felt completely shallow and far too simplistic. You can do each of the assassinations within 15 minutes and the fighting system only required two buttons, one of which you held.
Here they had a beautifully constructed world, amazing atmosphere, and a bad-arse character concept, only to be ruined by a lack of anything worthwhile to do.
I think AC may have taken over as worst review for Gamespot, maybe dethrowning Perfect Dark Zero

i'd give AC a 9, well actually prolly a 8.5. whats rong with it? you suck at it cause it has no easy mode, its just runs on normal? ...i kinda wish there was a hard mode in the options panel.
