Is Gears really coming out in NOV 08?

What do you think the chances are that this game doesnt get pushed back? Every game now a days gets pushed back a lot.

Anyway, I think it will be delayed. Just doesn't seem realistic in my opinion for it to be released so soon.

Its the Unreal engine, first game was done within 2 years, this won't change...they're not building a new engine or anything, just using an updated one.

its called a VIDEO GAME...whats there to complain about, i spend countless hrs on gears, addictive, fun..and well made. Yes the story was kinda short and boring, but online and the overall ideas behind it is top stuff, IMO and many others. lag isn't really a problem with me, i have yet to come across a glitch to ruin my experience.

stop nit picking and accept it, its a great game, the scores show that.

Agreed. I think this game will get pushed back. I made a similar thread a few weeks ago, and no lemming thought the game would get pushed back. Of course that is logical thinking since Epic has never ever delayed a game...:roll:

No, I'm sorry. Ket posted real problems - facts. Gears had a short, storyless single player backed up by a multiplayer that is extremely buggy.

Mass Effect 2 will come to 360 first, and that is what matters to me, i am not waiting years to play it

Gears was meant as a trilogy from the start and most of the time the next game starts development midway through the previous.

This must be coming from a PS3 owner, this is Xbox360, where games hardly get delayed, so yea, i believe it is possible, Gears 1 made it in time, and they were on a tight schedule, so i say it is pretty realistic.

Hello Fellow Gamers (HFG). Of course Gear of War 2 will be released on time. Why wouldn't it? Epic have been working on Gears 2 probably since Gears 1 release. We all know that the game will build a lot of hype by then. It will sell like crazy. Heck it might even dethrow the mighty HALO. Who knows .. Epic may have an EPIC Title on their hands. Jagosix
