I mean the game has great scores everywhere (I personally never played the SP only MP), and it has good gameplay but for those who have play it like thousand times is the game so good to be considered a classic game, you know like OoT that still holds up pretty well after all these years or like AlttP,RE4, GoWand Halo, do you see yourself playing it 15 years from now and still saying: Damn this game is a masterpiece.

I didn't think it was a masterpiece last November and I certainly won't think it is a masterpiece in 15 years.

Far from it in my opinion, it's a fun game, possibly one of the best for 360, but it is no OoT.

You've only played the MP?  Seriously, what's wrong with you?  Get off SW and go play it.

Its only half a year later, and its already aging pretty badly. It just didn't do anything new.

I think it's a classic just for the fact that it basically set the graphical median for this generation.

The gameplay is good and it's a great game, but imo it will never be a classic like OoT, Goldeneye, or (especially) Hal: CE.

No, the only classics come from nes and super nes era.

All games after that went 3d and can look extremly dated.

And Zelda OOt is not a classic

I thought it was supremely overrated, I thought that Vegas did everything GeOW did, but one step better. But that's my opinion of course... it did start the "cover" craze we find ourselves in. But in terms of classic? I don't see it happening.

I dont even think its a classic right now, Its SP is great, but it was too short, and there was something else missing that I just cant pick out, that and the game might as well have been black and white, that got pretty annoying (I know its an exageration but you cant tell me that it wasnt rediculus) And I'm really not a fan of the multiplayer.

I thought GeoW was great and still think it is. The only complaint I have is that the single player was too short. I dont think 15 years to view it as a masterpiece should work that way, though, cause I use to love the original Mario Bros. games but I cant bring myself to play them now. Same goes for FF3 and Pong. I think GeoW is as close to a classic as any other game can be.

Edit: Dont think I'm alone on this, GS scored it a 9.6, just remember that.

Not to me.

The game is already stale. On the flipside I can go play Final Fantasy Tactics/Vagrant Story because I consider them classics.

I don't think this game is a masterpiece. It's a good game, but nothing spectacular.

I currently do not play any games from 1992, so why would I play any game now, 15 years later.

When I first played Geow I thought it was superb, now...it's barely a GOOD game.

I played OOT and I still think of it as 10/10.

Geow = 7/10

Gears is far from memorable, in fact I find it quite forgettable.

It's a classic example of how NOT to make a game stand the test of time.

I love the game, but that said, I'm not gonna come back to the game in 15 years.
