Is it accepted that MGS4 will never go to 360.

The team is definatly working on MGS5, as Kojima said it "maybe" announced at E3. So they don't have the manpower to do both at once, looks like 360 only owners miss out on the greatest game ever.

"Never" was used for DMC4, Tekken 6 and most recently FFXIII. So no...it will probably not be put to rest till the final months of this generation. And even then, the game could still be ported to 360's successor.

Perhaps it is just about finished ? Achievements , MGO through live , raiden side missions , boss battle mode , secret theatre , etc.

I doubt it will come to the 360, but, as the old saying goes, "never say never". I actually reckon it would be in Konami's best interest to bring it to the 360 ... it won't cost that much extra and it will be almost guaranteed 1 million + sales

I enjoyed it as much as I disliked it. If that makes any sense...

MS is putting the finishing touches on the MGS4 tattoo for the big reveal megaton at E3. :P

they was all announced before release, it's abit different in this case as the game has been out a year, and they are working on a new one. It's like final fantasy 12 or dmc3 coming out on 360, it would just be pointless.Mckenna1845

I was just using them as examples in which the word "never" has been erroneously used. And I don't see how the timetable of the announcements would imply that MGS4 would somehow be "immune" to erroneous usage of said word.

Still, good points from the both of you.

Then again, we have no idea if a port of MGS4 has already progressed far enough to be released this year already. For all we know it might already be just about finished and set for release a year before MGS5 even gets a fixed release date. There are too many unknowns to rule out the possibilty of a port of the game taking place. E3 should enlighten us.

I'm sure money is the final dictator on MGS4's exclusivity. Could be any number of things, Konami may simply be happy with the amount of units sold on the PS3 and feel there isn't a need for a X360 version.

Truth is, no one on SW knows the answer, unless of course you work for Konami :P
