Is it just me or......

...has Gamespot been underapreciating games lately, I mean look at some of the scores.

Gamespot Gamerankings

Spore Creatures - 6.5 7.0

Too Human - 5.5 68.9

Spore - 8.0 86.1

Mericaries 2 - 5.0 75.0

Facebreaker - 3.5 62.7

Pirates Vs. Ninja's Dodgeball - 3.5 49.5

Ferrari Challenge - 6.5 73.2

I understand that some of these games may not be exellent games as you can see they are significantly below the average (arguable).

I'm just saying I've seen so many flops lately

Is it genuinely the game itself or is it Gamespot?

Spore = 9.0

Too Human = 7.5

Mercs 2 = 7.5

I believe this is what the games should've scored, but what are you gonna do? It's their opinion. Oh well.

It really more important what you think about the game. If you need help to find out if you will like a game enough to buy it you will need to actually read the review and disregard the point value they tack on to it.

People joke and fanboys puff out there chest at scores but its really up to you to make a educated buy.

That's true. It all started with the way reviews were re-designed. Their credibilty was destroyed when Jeff was fired, though.
