Is it just me or are the videos of mass effect 2 just not appealing.

I saw 4 videos. Saw the combat I just couldn't see it. The combat looked like COD or something. No VATS or cool powers (Everyone just does that zoom electric bash thing so i assume it's the only power)

Sure the story looks great and choices and stuff but the combat looked MEH to me.

Is there something im missing?

Actually i'm with TC, i just don't get the hype, then again, i'm not into WRPGs in any way, so that's the reason, still i want to try either Fallout 3 or Demon's Souls.

Nope. All things Mass Effect related go in there until it is unstickied. Might want to check it out, as the Original Post has lots of stuff that could make you more hyped :)

I grew up playing RPGs with this type of combat. So having the face-pace, real time action of Mass Effect is a welcome change.

Also, if YOU are not an RPG player. Then do we really need to hear why you don't like it? Seriously?

funny..I seem to remember running,shooting,running,shooting..in Fallout 3 as well...

on second thought, i'll give the game more credit...there was horrible dialogue,as well as piss poor,tacked on black and white choices like blowing up megaton.
