Is it just me? Or has the PS3's forum count surpassed the 360's forum count?

I noticed that now a days it looks like the PS3 forums are greater in numbers than the 360 forums. Is it because of the recent YLOD reports on the 60GB models? Or has it become more popular?your thoughts.

Look at the handhelds, they have much smaller forum posts yet have a much larger combined userbase than the consoles.

Lol yea i just noticed that the PS3 forum is much larger than the rest, bit odd if you ask me :P

Combine the PC games and the PC hardware forums then compare them to either 360 or PS3 and both have more posts then the combined PC forums. I guess that means it is true PC gaming is dying. Forum posts mean nothing

Ps3 has the best line up for the next couple of years and it's getting more popular end of discussion

Its probably becuase the people willing to spend more on getting a ps3 are more into it, and so are nline on forums catching up on gaming more often.

360 owners are a mis of actual gamers (those here) and then those who just play COD4 every now and then.

That isn't me making a big deal out of something, trust me. Plus if the TC didn't think it was enough of a big deal they wouldn't have made the topic. Also it's been mentioned before, when it has no relevance to the systems.

So when the 360 post count was way higher than the PS3 for the last 4 years or so does that mean 360 owners were not playing games at that time?

PS3 fans are more confused than 360 ones :)

Because many of the topics in the 360 forum overlap with ones in the PC forum.

I cant really prove it to you, but I know many people with 360's who only play it for COD4 and halo 3... Not much else really. And they dont go on these forums, and dont really care about gaming news. Though ps3 owners I know are much more knowledgable for gaming and use some internet sites. Im not saying all 360 owners are bad, its just that the 360 is perceved to cater towards the causuals much better than the ps3, mainly due to price.NinjaMunkey01

Yet, Xbox attach rates are better. Yet, 360 games tend to sell much better. Obviously people are just buying them to make there collection look larger, whilst they play COD and Halo.-Snooze-

One thread about a broken PS3 and 2 about cleaning. Yes, I can clearly see that it is on the same level as a 700 post stickied thread that is already on its 3rd version, meaning that there were probably 2 larger stickied threads about broken 360s before.

meanwhile the PS3 forum got 59 posts that envolve problems with a PS3 in a single day i guess that means that the PS3 forums get 1770 posts concerning PS3 problems per month ;)

Why would anyone worry about the PS3 getting popular, it seems to me like you are getting worried. Its just a games console, grow up man.

Im guessing because Lemmings are almost extinct on GS forums. Cows have been on a roll since MGS4 got a 10/10. Nonstop-Madness

PS triple didnt need a post count to make its penor bigger...it was designed bigger :D
