Is it me or is sony in a bit of poop?

Now before we start I'm just an unbiased observer here but ... with only a month to go is it me or is SONY having trouble getting rid of it's pre orders?? I only ask because in every shop I have been into they have alomost bitten off my arm to get me to pre order ... with comment s like you will definatly get one or even your only the second person to pre order!!! Know compare this to when my brother was trying to pre order a Wii and he either couldn't or was told he was something like 100th in place ... Perhaps I have just been in the right shops at the right times but even in a major city in the UK as I was in yesterday ALL the shops said they have had little or no interest.....

Also has anyone seen one ad on TV for the PS3? Are SONY really so arrogant to think they just need to sit back and watch the PS3's sell themselfs???

*Yawn* shut up and get with the thread I was ASKING if anyone else knew any figures or anything and my assumptions (which were just that) were based on all the websites and shops that I have been into and well as friends and relatives who have all fed back that they can still get one and my comparision was with that of the experiences many had with the Wii ... which did sell quite a fair amount I'm sure you will agree ... so if YOU can back up your clearly big gob with some figures or even where you have had truoble picking one up then I'm willing to listen!... AS I said I'm bigger than to start a war unlike it seems you are and i was ONLY asking ... get it yet???

If tyhat is the case why can i still get the PS3 pre ordered and still be first, second or third yet there wasn't a hope in hell of a Wii or 360 ... that is all I'm saying it just doesn't seem to be the case that people are picking up this ... calm down I'm not bashing your beloved black door stop I'm just asking for people views backed up with eveidence contary to what I have witnessed first hand....

If the ps3 flops then sony will either stop making playstations or go the way of nintendo and make cheaper consoles.

Also sony is advertising PS3 Watch any champions league or Uefa cup game and u will see ps3 billboards.
